I only have a handful of JEPQ and it has done alright so far.I think if you are retired it is superior to JEPI because technology is more volatile and that should bring more premium. And as you stated it adds diversity to the typical dividend portfolio. But, because the fund is taxed as income, and not qualified dividends, it has IMHO weaknesses that for someone with a 10+ year horizon should be able to find better investments. No question that JEPQ is better than QYLD though. QYLD should change its objectives to be a better fund.
Great video. I like QQQI for this type of hold (Dividend portion of the portfolio). Higher expense ratio but it’s has some tax advantages allegedly. Please review that one.
I too would like to see a review of NEOS products, QQQI and SPYI. I've started collecting both this year as I'm switching to income oriented equities. I'm happy with the returns so far and am curious how their 1256 contract strategy will work come tax time.
Just looked into that QQQI. It’s managed by same people that were doing NUSI. I got rid of NUSI dog and not making the same mistake again. So much for “safe” in a downturn .
Great video, Sam. Thanks for sharing. JEPQ isn't available in Europe (yet). Hope that'll change soon. Would love to know what you think about writing the covered calls yourself. I'm considering doing so as it gives me more options.

Yeah, I hate to admit it, but I’m gonna have to stop QQQM and start QQQI around October, (stock Christmas in my household)!
Love NEOS managed CC ETFs like QQQI and SPYI. You might also want to check out FEPI too, although it's early days.
@@zentravel1515 those to me are the best ones JEPQ, QQQI and FEPI for now.

Love that JEPQ!
JEPQ has done well for me. I held shares since Nov 2022. It was a relatively new fund at the time, so I didn't acquire a big position at then.

@@ypiypi3677 I think writing them yourself is a good approach, especially if you don't have to pay commissions
What!!!! This is crazy!! THANK YOU FOR SHARING
II think another reason JEPQ is better than QULD is it;s low beta. However, I would chose QQQI over either of them.

I have a lot of money in JEPQ and FEPI. I would love to hear your opinion on FEPI.
Obrigado.
I'm up 92% in QYLD, i just let it sit and churn dividends :)
Giving you another chance Sam.
Thank you!
I can only buy QYLD in holland and not JEPQ, so for me i must buy QYLD even tho i rather guy JEPQ or even JEPI
I feel you mate, same here in Germany. I'd love to buy JEPQ, but can't.

So you don’t like JEPI but you like QYLD….I’m not sure you know enough about these covered call products.
Not true. Did you watch both videos?
