You don’t see this anymore 😭😭 even though Ciara doesn’t have the strongest vocals her voice is clean, and polished and not to mention she’s a DANCER. A lot of these artists don’t train or practice anymore, just coming on stage looking and sounding a MESS. Idk when and how the bar got so low but please take us back 😭

That's not true. Ciara's gimmic was to always tease men. She wore close but sang songs and danced alluringly.
She even had this one song called he likes the way I ride it. And danced like she was riding a phallus in the video while singing it.
Moreover, Beyonce, Lil Kim, Missy, Tweet, and many other offered sexually explicit music during this same time as well.
The amount of clothes she wore doesn't matter when the song was literally about how men are beneath her and can't have sex with her while she danced provocatively to get their attention.
This song and what she wore forced men to undress her with their eyes because of its content and the way she danced to the lyrics. She bewitched men's attention just as much as anyone who didn't wear clothes in my opinion.
