I own this car! an Rx500h F sport level 3. it's a great suv! not as extreme as the euro counter parts! but also less $$$ involved once the factory warranty runs out! I do love the new X3 as well. Also the piano black is of high quality and not a cheap variant. I like the clean aesthetics and how easy it is to use. the Seats are also amazing as well! F sport seats are amazing! the Mark Levinson sound is very balanced and powerful with no distortion what so ever.
I agree with you about all the plastic and fake vents. I don't know why so many car companies insist on all the plastic everywhere. Other than that, it's not a bad looking ride. Good to see you back. It seems like it's been a while 🙌😀
I own this car in Silver with the Red leather - thank you for explaining some of the features I still had not figured out!! Don’t forget that it connects to your phone so you can speak to Google or Lexus - the navigation is a bit better in google mode from the phone that all runs through the dash and screen. But I didn’t know what all those controls were on the rear view mirror so thank you for that!
That's awesome, congratulations on the beautiful Lexus! I'm glad you learned a few new things, and thank you for the informative info about the built in Google features. Super cool!
Great reviews! Introduced the vehicle and demonstrated to the current users for how to operate it. Just want to share some personal experience here. The eight unlabeled buttons on the steel wheel can be set up for many features. The four buttons on the right-side are for driving and the four on the left-side are for media and audio control. Each of the buttons can be set for two features. For example, I put the ECO and Customer drive-mode there for easy switch. The default mode is Standard when starting the engine except the ECO mode if used in the last drive. Play around the Customization in the central display for the convenience and fun. Also, set up the Apple Carplay or Android Auto for more fun and features.
That's SUPER cool that those buttons can be configured even further. I didn't have much time with the car and must not have quite figured out all the ins and outs. I think it's a very good idea to have buttons as customizable as these because the driver can make the car their own. Thank you so much for the informative comment!
JW, I find you very thorough and knowledgeable person as a car reviewer for the Lexus 500H You pointed out so many useful features of this vehicle that even so called Lexus sales professionals don’t know. I am looking forward to buying this vehicle and enjoy everything about this vehicle. Keep up great work sharing your journey. Cheers Karl from Calgary Canada 🇨🇦
Great review as always James. I agree with you about the over use of plastic and the grill is a bit better but it would still be a no go for me. The engine does have a good amount of horsepower but with it being the F trim I would have hoped for at least a 6 cylinder. Always so happy to see your videos and hoping that you are doing great!
Pretty impressive vehicle with a plethora of convenient controls (power up and down adjusters in the cup holders), what will they think of next? I agree with you about the fake plastic vents etc., they would not be so pronounced with a black paint job. I always enjoy your in-depth reviews James!
@@JW_Reviews Guess what? The Saturday MotorWeek episode reviewed the same vehicle and it was black. Not as comprehensive as yours (which was better btw) 👍👍 James!
I have had 2 Lexus. When you own one you know why they are the best. No Cadillac or Lincoln will ever compare to build quality and luxury of a Lexus. The Lexus ES 350 non-F sport would be the one to test drive.
what about starting it from the App, does the engine shut off when you approach the car or stay running (Like Toyota and having to restart the car when your inside)
The last Lexus I bought was a ES350 and now that they have done away with naturally aspirated 6 cylinder engines I'll never buy another one again. This is what happens when a New CEO of a company would rather give in to the green New Deal instead of giving the customers what they want. Former CEO Mr Toyoda would never have allowed this..
Whatever happened to Nissan's Infinity luxury brand? I've talked to several mechanics, and they all feel cars have gotten over complicated. Parts are another concern! You need to be in the high six digit income to have these vehicles!
This is the only engine they should’ve put in the RX at all because it’s the only one worthy of being in it. Let’s not forget that even the first generation RX a quarter century ago had the Camry’s reworked buttery smooth 3.0L V6 engine that provided brisk acceleration for the time. A plug in hybrid is gimmicky. The base hybrid is underpowered. The base turbo is the worst of both worlds - both poor fuel economy and performance.
This is the dumbest car reviewer i’ve ever seen in my life. “ Overstyled”? This is literally the most beautiful car amongst its competitors, it’s gorgeous from the inside out in every angle. This dude has no business in doing car reviews, i’m pretty sure he thinks a PT Cruiser is a beautiful car. 🤦♂️

Very nice! Thank you for your insight on the car, being an owner it can be very useful to know.
@@JW_Reviews yes 👍 very happy with this RX. The previous Lexus was a 2013 RX luxury but the rx500h is a huge step in a more exciting drive
This is my 5th Rx f.sport, best Rx 500h from Lexus, awesome vehicle ❤ this is a 2023.
Beautiful car, I hope one day I will have one❤
Great review. I love watching multiple reviews, you always get different info! Thx

Yep, there's just so much of it on the exterior. Thank you, Jeremiah! It's always good to be back and to make videos whenever possible 😁
It looks good tho with that fake vents, i don't really care about them they just make the car look a bit more aggresive

Thanks for your comments. I found online reviews by some experts who didn't spent time on those buttons but gave negatives comments.
Gorgeous vehicle. Handsome reviewer. Interesting cinematography. Subscribed.
Thank you so much for subscribing!!
Great review. I learned a lot about Lexas. Very impressive!
Thank you so much Dad!!

Thank you very much, James! Those are great points, this car does have a few things that could be further improved.
Pleasing everyone is totally impossible! It park it self, it also have like an engine break, and much more @
Another great video, was not familiar with all these features on the new Lexus models.
Thank you! I certainly learned a lot while making this video :)
that intro was epic u deserve a show of ur own brother

Grown up! F500 has more power than 6V
Do you know emission standard, think before you write, other manufacturers are using smaller displacement too
All dat kislux bags sssssoooooooo gorgeous
Luxury export to us, that's how the name came about.
Good point! Thank you for watching
Imagine this with 3.0 V6 naturally aspirated engine

I believe Lexus builds a great car, BUT, Please stop the awful excessively large front grills. PLEASE……..
Naveenthemachine would like to have a word with u regarding the standard of luxury SUVs
Thank you for watching the video!

Excellent review of a boooring car. Great photography and demonstration. Go for 20K!!!
We just made it to 20k! 😎 As always, thank you so much Dale!
@@JW_ReviewsCongratulations on 20K!
Bro, the real life gas mileage of these has been BAD vs what Lexus stated it was. That’ll make this 1 a stinker
Lexus simple best.
Too bad V6 no longer available.
I can’t bring myself to drop $75k on a 4 cylinder engine. It’s just not gonna happen. Same thing with the GMC Terrain Denali..

Great car + review. But please hit the gym 🙏, looks matter🤞
JAMES; CLC member here. Are you sure that Lexus doesn't mean UGLY???
Goode point LOL! I hope you were able to go to the CLC Grand National a couple weekends ago. What a fantastic show!
Lexus= l stands voor Luxury.....EX for export and US for United States L-EX-US
I cant imagine why one would want to celebrate exhausts that pollute the environment?
The as of the reviewer 🙃
I‘m not a fan of the Lexus brand. Think it looks weird. Better go with the German or us brands.
Very valid points! Thank you for watching the video
It stands for “Luxury EXport to US” stop making shit up.

Lexus lost there way,,,,still very very good but not great
