Great reaction as always 👍. Not sure if you know, but the actor who played Father Ted - Dermot Morgan - sadly passed away one day after wrapping up the final series. He was having a dinner party and died of a massive heart attack. But as you'll no doubt agree he leaves such a wonderful legacy in Father Ted that made so many laugh and continues to this day in good people like yourselves. Take good care of yourselves 😊
This is hilarious, I was at an Irish music weekend a couple of weeks ago and there was a young Irish singer, and all the biddys were exactly like this 😂😂😂
Love it when Ted and Dougal are holding out in anticipation for Jack's suggestion for what the diversion should be, and he keeps raising his finger...until finally he only offers "Drink! Feck! Arse! Girls!" as the helpful suggestion. 🙃😂 It's sad you're coming to the end of your Ted journey of discovery, but I'm pleased to hear you'll be reacting to the "Small, Far Away" documentary. It is essential viewing for all Ted fans! Again I thank you for your wonderful reactions. :)
You two have watched many episodes of Father Ted now and I can tell that you have gotten to really know the characters and enjoy the show having gone on a journey with it. This is how it should be. People can't fully appreciate something just by dipping in and watching isolated clips or individual episodes without context.
As Henry Price says above, the Eoin McLove character owes a lot to Irish crooner Val Doonican, but in his effect is also reminiscent of a more recent Irish singer who had a huge appeal to certain mature women, Daniel O’Donnell.
AWESOME IT'S EOIN McLOVE! Ahhh, that was great 😂 "Oi smell wee. Where's dat comin' frum? It's this wan here, he smells o' wee!" 🤣 "You leave me alone, I can have you killed."😂 Ahhhh, love it! Just total madness. Mrs Doyle's friend in the supermarket, 'gliding' up to her and then glides back. And the gossip spreading montage, hilarious stuff. 🤣 Patrick McDonnell who plays Eoin, is now 67, jayzus! He's actually based on Daniel O'Connell, one of those types of entertainers that appeals to the Blue Rinse Brigade. (auld Biddies) And he has ladies over for tea and such, but I'm sure he's not an arse head like Eoin is! Well that was fun watching it with Youse two, as always. Cheers me Dears. Ohhhh, you've the last episode to view, GOING TO AMERICA. Ah well, leave 'em wanting more, as they say! ARSE BISCUITS! 🤣👍
You two are actually my favourite reactors on youtube❤❤ i've watched and i'm subscribed to a few other reactors but i really really enjoy watching your reactions, especially to father ted ❤❤
The "Tall Tea-Bags" is a pun on the trend in Britain at the time for fad packaging. Round bags and pyramid bags being the two of the most common deviations from square.
The Eoin character is loosely (very loosely) based on the Irish entertainer Val Doonican. He had his own show on the BBC for over twnty years, loved to rock a polo neck jumper, and had an effect on women of a certain age, if you know what I mean.
The last episode still feels strange when I watch it, knowing Dermot Morgan was dead 24 hours later. His performance was still as great as ever, but it has to be said he did look unwell.
@@Sara_Kane I take it you know the dark story behind that? Tommy Tiernan repeatedly fluffed his lines, forcing Dermot to do the dance several times, by the end of which he had chest pains.
@@jackcarter5101 I do, yep. I saw Tommy telling the story in his own words. He feels that Dermot being forced to do the dance several times may have contributed to his heart attack.
@@Sara_Kane I mean before demonising either Tommy or the director even if it's what caused the heart attack he obviously didn't have long left if that little bit of light exercise offed him. Maybe a couple of extra days at best.
@@Fireglo I've never demonised Tommy, or the director himself for what happened. I just stated that Tommy himself feels it could have contributed. It is of course true that Dermot must have had heart trouble of some kind (althought it was probably undiagnosed, and so Dermot was oblivious to it) prior to the repeated light dancing on the show. Tommy was in no way responsible, and I think he realises this himself, but his reaction I think was just a human one, and very understandable. At least for any decent, compassionate person.
you didnt watch the season 3 episode 3 'delivering more than milk'. you dont wanna miss the mighty pat mustard and also happy to hear that you will watch the documentary 'Small, far away.'
All these guest actors were stand up Irish comics they said by season two they were all waiting for the call if they didn’t get the call they were worried

My husband decided to vacuum the living room rug with our Dyson he never used before.went over one of the cat biscuits and burnt out the motor on it. This is my reason for never letting him do anything in the house.
Brad&Lucy have you missed some episodes out??, have you seen the one with the rabbits, the one where ted fixes Mrs Doyles back, the milk float episode.
My mum worked as a nurse at a convent for old retired nuns and they were absolutely loopy over Daniel O'Donnell. You wouldn't believe the grief I got from some pious RE teacher when I didn't know what pope John Paul II's real name was before he became pope. I thought it was Karel Fialka.
Sorry Eamonn here again from Ireland. 🇮🇪there’s another famous saying we have here in Ireland. So if I saw you on the street I could say to you WHATS THE CRACK. Just another saying we have here. It’s like saying hello. Just thought I would tell yous that. Cheers.🇮🇪☘️✌️✌️

Graham Linehan, screenwriter of Father Ted and Black Books, have a 3rd successful serie: "The IT crowd". I'm pretty sure you would laugh till tears with this one too. Thank you for your videos!!
I think this would be my least favourite episode of _Father Ted,_ if I had to pick such a thing. That's not saying much, because it's still a fantastically funny episode, but I think I just find Eoin McLove's character _too_ unpleasant overall. I love the old lady in the shop who interrogates Mrs Doyle, and Ted's agonised thinking in the final sequence!! 😂😂 I'll miss seeing your reactions to this show. P.S. I think the last Pope actually was called Jim... 😉
The show always had surreal and over the top moments but I think the whole Night of the Living Dead premise took it too far. Not to mention a NOTLD homage is pretty lazy, it's been done to death (no pun intended). It shows they really were running out of ideas and decided to end it there even before Dermot's sudden death.
The way the woman in the shop just "floats" towards and away from Mrs Doyle cracks me up every time! 🤣
😂😂😂
Then them sending messages. The voices . The pidgeon sanctuary 😂
21:56 Lmaooo I think Lucy was remembering the small cows and far away cows!

Maria Doyle Kennedy who played Patsy in this went on to star as Catherine of Aragon in the excellent series "the Tudors"
I love Eoin didn't even move when a brick came through the window.
Sad you're reactions to Ted are nearly finished but delighted ye are doing the documentary, it's great!

i love your reactions to father ted i will be sad when these are over
I can relate, If im rummaging through someones fridge, and they ask what im doing
"you leave me alone, i could have you killed"
I recommend The Inbetweeners, a sitcom about very socially inept teenage boys trying to fit in.
The MGM intro would have been better if it had been Father Jack shouting 'Feck! @rse! Drink! Gerls!'
Happy St Patrick's Day to our Irish friends ☺️ 🇮🇪
