Hi from New Zealand. Everything that you said in terms of pain in its locality is what I am experiencing and have experienced since I was diagnosed with stage 3 vaginal cancer in 2022, had surgery to remove tumors in July 2023, but have a recurrence a few months later. I feel robbed of the quality of life I’m now subjected too. I’ve just come across you today and thank you so much. I want to learn as much as I can to improve my situation.

I’m glad I found this video. I’ve been dealing with many of the pelvic pains/ discomforts that have been mentioned. My pains started back in 2020 after I had a uti. I started feeling pressure/heaviness in my rectum and my uti symptoms persisted even though I had no sign of infection. I also started feeling a deep discomfort/pain in my clitoris. This pain would worsen when I tried to relax/ sleep (sometimes it felt like an intense twitching/ tingling that would startle me and keep me from falling asleep). This pain usually gets worse after I have a bowel movement.
I still feel a tightness/ heaviness in my rectum and I often have issues with fissures/ hemorrhoids. I’ve also dealt with constipation and digestion issues in the past. Ive noticed that all these pains come on or are aggravated by stress and anxiety.
I’ve been to many doctors but they have had little or no understanding for me and have only wanted to prescribe antidepressants.

Hey.. Sorry to know what you are going through .. But we are on the same boat.. Can you please let me know what treatment you have taken and how are you now? am having recurrent UTI from past 11 yrs .. There is no burning sensation.. but I get stabbing or poking kind of sharp pain above clitoris.. the moment it stabs I won't be able to step ahead not even a single step 😢 ..

@@Aradhya34569 sorry to hear about that. My symptoms come and go and I haven’t had a bad flare up in a while (where I’m unable to sleep). I find that taking warm epsom salt baths and sleeping with a hot water bottle helps a lot. Also trying to eliminate stress/anxiety by listening to calming music or meditation at night before bed helps me to relax more and sleep better. Hope you feel better soon !
My gynecologist told me TODAY, that I need to be more gentle while self pleasing. Jokes on you, I can't even do any kind of self pleasing right know because of the pain.

Gynic said its coz of UTi...but all the urine test report comes negative.. From Jan 2023 it has started to repeat every month.. when ever this occurs I get this stabbing pain...please let me know if anything worked for you

I've been struggling with problems since I was 12. At first they thought it was on my mind, then going to a doctor after years of it disappearing for few months and coming back they said it was an infection but even after treating it and getting rid of it it always returns bo matter how careful I am. Now I'm 19 and I have reached a point where I am barely going a single month without it which just causes me more pressure, discomfort and pain with me getting only few hours of sleep every day for the past week.

Hi. While unfortunately I haven't been able to find a permanent solution to my problem I am doing better. I'd advise getting an ultrasound to your bladder, the repeated UTI had actually started to damage mine which left me more vulnerable to infections and it could turn into something more dangerous if left untreated.
As for the pain and discomfort I haven't found any explanation yet. I've only managed to find ways to make it more bearable, using small amounts of lubricant eliminates a lot of the discomfort when I have to go out, not wearing tight underwear or pants, I was also prescribed a gel from my doctor to see if it helps but I think it did much. Also speak with a doctor about getting a supplement. Helped me a lot with getting better.
Right now I'm at the best point I've ever been the past 5 years, haven't had a UTI in 3 months now but the discomfort and pain come and go in less intense volumes.

I recently consulted Uro-gynecologist..she inspected and said I have extra skin tag like thing inside labia so suggested surgery.. am not sure whether surgery is required for such tags and can sharp stabbing kind of pain can occur just because of an extra skin tag in that region ..

I have been dealing with something since August 2020, I went to the doctors August because something was not right... it just felt irritated. they couldn't find anything. Fast forward to January after being to the doctor about five times - I went to emergency for the third time and they found bacterial vaginosis.
