really nice tierlist - thanks brother! I like what you had to say about Ghallaron this sums up the main issue that WL is having really well for me. I think Warshaper is definitely better than subpar now. Targuil got top Tau score (currently 2nd i think) using a warshaper deck. Its similar to the Aun'va shenanigans and with the new strike ability its almost like a 35hp WL. Tervigon got some nice buffs and new combos with the recent balance patch and also has favourable matchups vs many of the tier 1 and top tier 2 decks so might actually be this meta's secret weapon. The problem is that many people (including me) don't know how to play Terv optimally - otherwise great job, this feels about right to me :-)
Warshaper is not bad but I did recently switch back to comfy Aun'Va. I think Warshaper has some really lopsided matchups and often awkward curve (that doesn't allow efficient on curve Stealth Battlesuit for example.) It's mostly a preference thing to me. Aun'Va has more patterns to success.
Great takes as always! Similar to BJ, I actually think Warshaper is the 2nd most viable warlord of the 4 in T'au, but that may be because I've been burned by Shadowsun-Camo too many times lol
Great Tier List! As an UM only player since the start of the game I disagree with the UM ranks though as from my perspective there is literally no chance with UM against all "Very good" decks. Especially against Junith it is ridiculous how low the general power level of the UM cards are in comparison to the Sororitas ones now that the codex mechanic has been highly nerfed due to the huge "tactical insight" nerf. Even though (apart from the OP months we had in June and July) UM has been rather weak before atm they are nearly unplayable in 4/5 match-ups.
11:16 this applies to both Legions and Warpforge in general. Some factions/warlords don't show up in the meta report despite being good because of how they can be a chore to dominate with.
My poor sweet Boss Zag. How they have wronged you. I have tried every season at least a few games with the Boss. But, unfortunately even with all the great Ork Cards, he remains at a 50/50 win ratio. I hope the Boss's star will rise at some point in the future. I will be ready when it does.
I was trying to climb the faction with Nemesor and Orikan bullied me down to 2400 with Necrons, so i don't know man, i feel he is good against the same decks that Orikan Scarabs is already good at, but he can't really out tempo other decks
Just picked up the game, looking for a faction to start building a collection in. Enjoying Eldar, sisters and tyranids atm. Having a blast. Having trouble building a collection as I can’t seem to get my hands on warlords. Is this game good in the limited scene, if you’re playing it for just that atm?
@@Hawko1313 hey! Yeah it can be pretty fun. In order to get the warlords u either have to get them from packs, shop or craft them with wildcards that u get in the campaign rewards.
I’ve played so many variations of Tervigon and I rack up L after L. It should be placed in Bad not Very Good. Why? A two wound gaunt is not going to win the game nor interact with the opponent in any meaningful way. The player can attempt to control the board until its cost is dropped to one or two to swarm the board with GauntZillas; however, by that time Tervigon is out of health and Nids lack the vanguard ability where it counts - cheap three wound troops.
@@welenden Ah, well mostly what has changed was that people are using archoflaggelant in almost every deck. Due to the whole Scarab, Junith, GSC situation. But the sisters decks mostly look the same.

I agree that Warshaper has virtual 35hp with his ability.

Can we just take a minute to appreciate the meta right now? 7 factions on your 2 top tiers its amazing, its a joy to play ladder.
And then came the genestealer cults
Thanks for the content. Appreciate it! Haven’t played much this month yet but really looking forward to Genestealers

Getting back into the game for genestealers, perfect time🙏🏼

I agree. Varro at 31% legendary winrate throughout the season puts him very deep in the bad category. All UM warlords should be in bad

Who could have predicted that once again Orks are the strongest faction?

necrons all should be knocked down a rank at least. ghaeyln also quite equal to anvir if not better as they win in the mirror as well.
I think you are sleeping on Vahl, but good list man.

and what will the decks look like now that 2 factions have been added?
Guess it's time for me to redo a tier list
@@TheEcclesiarch well, besides Liszt, have the decks of the same sisters themselves probably changed a lot?
