Gotta love our scaled friends. They are beautiful animals; I hate that their environment is being destroyed, but awareness is a good thing so that we can preserve these wildlife gifts among us.
They're a bit a shy guys, native to Indonesia, there are many wild ones here on Sumatra mostly they go out after midnight when I wanted to come close they run away.
gotta love Kenan "lets give her space" then proceeds to get closer to her XD. i know your trying to get us a better view but maybe do so after she has calmed and settled into her new environment in an effort to not increase stress
The enclosure turned out amazing! Great job!! I cant get over how beautiful she is! Her spots going down to that lovely ringed tail. Really looking forward to watching her become part of the Kamp family and settle in.
She is a beautiful species. So happy u have her. I love learning about the animals you have at Kamp Kenan. Thank you for all the information you share with us. I especially love the tortoises
Hi Kenan Lagatha is so beautiful. Your enclosure is so awesome. She is upset from being in that bag since last night at the airport. Love that hide box, it looks so natural. She will I hope settle down after she explores her new home. With love, and patience, you will get to know each other better. 🦎🐍🐢❤️Cindy
Wow what a beauty! I think croc monitors are the most beautiful of the large monitors! I'm sticking to ackies myself but it's wonderful to see someone being able to give a great home to one of these big ones!
5.5' untamed croc monitor!!! You have huge balls dude cause that can go so bad so quick it's not even funny. 3.5' Savannah can rip you up in nothing flat so a 5.5' croc monitor encounter can be instantly life changing. Best of luck bud, if anyone can make it work it's you. Thanks for sharing the awesome enclosure build and extremely awesome unboxing of one of and arguably THE cream of the crop, pinnacle, reptile of all reptiles! Super cool
Of all the reptiles available as pets you'd think having the word "crocodile" in its name would be enough to give even the most impulsive purchasers second thoughts.
Brett Perry well there’s also crocodile skins which are pretty much harmless beginner pets like leopard gecko so maybe they just don’t do their research right 🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️
Anybody that doubts the teeth or bite of the croc monitor just take a look at Tom Crutchfield's video when he was bitten by one of his... It was not a full bite either and Tom almost lost his hand let alone fingers... Very beautiful yet dangerous monitor...
When you said she could have chewed her way out of that bag, i saw the holes in the side of the outer bag as you were sliding her out, and thought, "Yep, she was trying exactly that, stubborn lady!" Then you found out she was DOUBLE bagged! Your pal was SERIOUS in making sure she was secure. Dang. Tough little lizard, and gorgeous. Hope she's able to settle down and mellow some once she realizes she's safe. Monitors are smart, so it shouldn't take long. :-)
Inspiring on a weekly basis. You’re a true inspiration to me. And as I always say: you inspired me in creating my channel and breeding facility here in Italy where reptiles are not so known still. Thank you, much love Kenan!
hype you are doing this for this species kenan, been following you since xgames days. maybe put some plants or foliage around the outside of her enclosure to help with the new home jitters. I know it helped with my large monitors. I also have had great experience leaving old shirts or blankets with my scent in their enclosure. helped them settle in better, none the less doing an amazing job.
Beautiful enclosure ! You should think about putting a platform around the inside so he can walk around and get sun wherever he wants like Tom crutchfiled does in some on his enclosures
I love ur build!! The moss really topped it off 👍🏻👍🏻 looks like a tree is growing in the cage. U really put a lot of thought into this enclosure. She should b really happy!!

Another Vikings fan! :D. Welcome to the family Lagertha! It's interesting to see how she once out of the pouch didn't want to give you her blind spot. At the end of the video she tries to go right and insist in not turning left because she wouldn't see you
That is an awesome enclosure. That croc monitor is gonna love it there. I only have one thing I'd like better and that's the water hole. Maybe you will make something more custom and natural looking to go better with the rest of the enclosure. Something like how you made slinky's watering hole or pond. Its big enough for him to completely get inside. Other than the water hole everything else is epic! I love it either way with or without a more natural water hole.
I'm so excited to get to know her better. She's so beautiful :) what a dream animal I have a scaleless rat/corn (from snake discovery:)) also named Lagartha :)
badass she's beautiful and awesome the cage is badass to very well made. now u have a giant croc minitor and a giant water monitor cant wait to see ur others monitors u have get that size.

She's pretty chill already. Gonna be awesome.
Aww she is a sweetheart~ will be interesting to see her personality once she relaxes
I just found this channel and I love how cheery he is when he was talking about possibly calling 911
Good job on that enclosure. Looks amazing and so does the Monitor.
