I am Prinshell, a natural hair stylist located in Houston, TX where I was born & raised.
I want to share my passion for hair with you in hopes that you are entertained and educated in the meantime.
Keep in mind that I’m an artist and I’m sensitive about my ish. I’m also a licensed professional and this is a paying client. This clients’s opinion of what I’m doing is the only one that matters because she pays my bills.

Looks like I need to come sit in a Houston chair for my hair! 😂 I'm a retired licensed cosmetologist, who began my career in 1991. I can not stand the direction the profession has been forced to. Too many stylists can braid and weave but know very little about chemistry, cuts, and care. You executed this style with precision from the shampoo bowl, all the way to the finished touch. Your commentary was on point. Yes... it is her hair, let people live their choice of length out loud without having an opinion. People always feel the need to jump on someone else about their choices. SHE started her birthday behavior with the decision to bring it in with a different look and YOU brought the idea to life in your chair!!! I agree 💯 I to went to beauty School in 1991 to 92. Gordon Phillips in NJ. She really did do a fantastic job and her commentating was so awesome and perfessionnal. May God continue to bring you great clients as he continues to enlarge your territory with every head you touch.❤️💯🙏🏼
Beautiful!! I’m ready to come fly to you 😂 My hair is a stiff mess lol I try to do my own silk press on my blunt bob and it has no movement and body 😭Will i ruin my hair if I rewash it and try again? Or should i wait a week before applying more heat?

That is gorgeous. You’re right it’s her head if she wants it cut then cut it. Some stylist don’t even care to ask they just cut it all off. And it will grow back. Absolutely gorgeous ❤❤

I cried in my mind seeing the hair cut, but it’s only hair & with good care it’ll definitely continue to grow back. I love the bob haircut by far. Looks great 👍🏽🥰

I enjoyed you. I have been licensed since 1963 and an Instructor since 1986. You really learned and practice well. Glad it’s not weave , perm & etc. manufacturers see how much money our Race spend on hair and have come out with all kinds of destructive hair products . I am 81 yrs. Old and still practicing. May I suggest one technique? When doing your hairlines back, around the ears , and temples practice using your flat iron at an ANGLE! Keep working so those little hairs can be slightly pulled using a comb along with flat iron so you won’t burn your clients scalp. Have client brush those edges to stimulate growth making it easier for you to grasp. You do a MAGNIFICENT JOB! May you have success in all your endeavors!❤🙏👏

This was like a blast from the past, I am a woman of a certain age and I had a stylist that was phenomenal. He has passed on now, but whenever I left the shop, I had to carry his cards with me. People would stop me on the street to ask me where I got my hair done at. Bouncing and behaving hair, we called it the short and sassy style. You are a phenomenal stylist as well. You aim to please and you do a good job of it. God bless you. I thoroughly enjoyed watching your video and definitely did subscribe. Looking forward to seeing more from you.
Sounds like the hair dresser i had he passed away i gotten good compliments as well nothing like a good hair do from a hair dresser that knows what he’s doing i miss him very much.

I just love black women's hair natural like this, I've seen women with incredibly long hair after this process, I just think it's beautiful and so much better than some of the wigs I've seen, this lady must be really good for people to come from different states ❤

She has natural beautiful hair. Nice grade and good quality that looks like weave . The texture and grade doesn’t look even have that natural human looks as though it’s growing out From he scalp ! Real healthy head of hair ! Everyone wouldn’t be able to pull off that hair style unless they have that blessed quality head of hair it wouldn’t turn out so beautiful ❤
It’s not really about the texture of hair…it’s the care and the technique to achieve this style. Everyone’s hair is capable of looking this good😉

Her hair is so long and beautiful and it took a year to get this length. If she want a bob for her birthday, she could have gotten a wig for that. 🙁
Yes she could have but it’s nice to embrace change especially while you have the guts to do it. Wigs aren’t for everyone and she wanted the cut for lifestyle purposes not just for her birthday
I find growing ur hair for so long to retain that length, then to cut it when it's stretched out is way ridiculous... because you all tend to forget that when our hair is WETis gonna shrink right up, right! Her hair is not gonna stay like that

Her hair was cut perfectly, so thick and gorgeous, she didn't cut that much off, about 4 inches, not to bad, she'll have those 4 inches back in less than a year.
