At first I laughed in this film because of its Low Class Visual Effect. After I watched this video I now appreciate the ingenuity of the creator having a combined Elements both of Shazam and Superman in Plot.
I didn't even know that there was a Turkish Wizard of Oz. After watching Turkish Rambo, Superman, and Star Wars I'm gonna roast a thick one and watch this puppy.
I know you don't do these very often, but it's always exciting when you do. I have to question why it isn't just a Captain Marvel movie though. But I guess, like you said, Superman was the big ticket at the time so it was best to copy that.

I LOVE "Kilink." I've read several of the original photonovels (published here as "Sadistik"), seen the films, and even met one of the Turkish actors who played him when I was in Istanbul last year. I'm not sure a video on the character would be a good fit for Deja View, BUT there's a marvelous documentary on him out there called "The Diabolikal Super-Kriminal," which I highly recommend if you can find it. www.imdb.com/title/tt1148167/

As far as a neon Harbor video on the subject, I think you may be right. Maybe just a brief overview on the character and its many incarnations? Kind of like a beginner's guide to the subject. Budget is not everything , Here common sense really helps for the most part , filmmaking is more about skills than budget . Films like these have more of a skill issue than budget and also some answer you never get but that doesn't mean they had budget issues , they can buld three giant spaceshop set on the beach for turkish star wars but cannot afford chroma screens , this just one example..You gotta be kidding. Talk right.
Listen. I applaud the guerrilla film-making and ambition. Some film makers can't afford good production values. What I can't overlook is that "Superman Returns" is horribly written and nothing makes any sense. The characters and their actions are just alien. You neither have to have tons of money or fantastic actors if at least the story is decent. If the plot is ripped straight off a 40's serial I'm not surprised - most of those made little to no sense and were mostly seen by kids. As legitimate cinema they were scoffed at even in the 40's. Anyways, I find these videos very informative and interesting. Therefore I subscribed.

I have one of the Turkish Killink (Who's similar to Diabolik , but based on The Italian Father - Son villains , Kriminal and Killing.)movies. It also has a subplot taken directly from Captain Marvel. The ghost of an old wizard sees a boy mourning his murdered parents and turns him into a superhero alternately called Flying Man or ...Superhero , whenever the boy speaks his name. It's REAL action - packed , actually. Also , is'nt it pronounced "Koont"? : )
