Christian Koloko is looking better and better with every given day. Rebounding (offense and defence), boxing out, slamming the lobs, tailing on the breakaway runs, blocking shots, oh my. This kid. This kid.
This kid can play. I think it just might have been nerves the first few weeks. Now he looks more comfortable with his peers.

All hoop fans know that the Raptors will be deep and improve from their performance last season, but the media will once again be surprised because of how much they underrate them
Precious has not been impressing me in these runs at all. He's got the worst attitude on the floor, turns the ball over, takes bad shots, and is generally focused on his own performance. Not making the team better. He could be so good he just needs to focus on winning and the rest will come. He forces just about everything and then bitches when he doesn't get a call or loses the ball. Raptors development have a lot on their hands with this guy. He seems like pain to coach. I'm not dissing, he has crazy high potential and is a huge piece but he needs some work for sure and it's mostly on his attitude

I agree. I really like precious but I havent been impressed with or like what I'm seeing in these rico runs for him. I also feel like he complains way to much expecting to get foul calls. He needs to learn to play through the contact and try to get that bucket so he can get an and 1 and if they don't call it atleasthe still finishing getting points. But yeah been tough watching him in these Rico runs. Especially how his trainer was tryna hype him and saying precious should start. Not with that attitude and forcing up bad shots expecting a call.

He looks like he did at the beguning of the year last Bricking shots and struggling to finish at the rim. But I'm hoping we see an improvement of him

That raptors vs raptors game was 🔥
This was the best performance yet of the Raptor core (minus OG). I would love to see Koloko get a lot of minutes this year to show what he can truly do. He is beginning to jell rather nicely with the boys. His presence in the paint is making everything easier for Fred, Gary, Pascal, Downtin and the others. The excitement for the 22/23 is beginning to build.
Koloko is a nice fit, he should make the rotation by mid-season if he keeps progressing this fast. Koloko can guard 1-5. His timing for alley oops is improving. Precious needs to sharpen his 3-pt shot. Dowtin is guarding Fred well. Boucher and Koloko are complementing each other. I wonder how Koloko will manage against heavy bigs.
I didn’t know Koloko name prior but I do now. He was on the boards and doing the dirty work. Every team needs one of those

5:19 Mann Vanvleet actually makes me so proud to have this man playing for us on the Raptors. His basketball IQ, playing along with Kyle Lowry had to help with this. He worked his ass off, and just his quick thinking with the ball. Even Lowry himself, was never the quickest, most athletic, or tallest pg, so they became a genius out on the court running the offense. They know how to get someone off balance, change of pace, I love it. And doing all of it while keeping their focus on their teammates, and exploiting the weakness of the defense. Vanvleet got a damn smooth jumperr too thoo. 👀

Let's be realistic, there are 270-300 rotation spots in NBA . 150-180 bench spots. Some players play 15 seasons. Breakthrough requires opportunity and that is very limited in this sport.
Nick nurse always says you gotta prepare and do everything necessary so when your opportunity comes you’re in the position to take it.
Hey man, people can still make a nice living playing basketball overseas. Breakthrough can look differently for some players. Breakthrough might be getting opportunities to hoop in Europe or Asia and make pretty good money still.

Ive been saying that for years...when he gets the ball back to the basket he stops and holds it too long...Dream would give you a couple shoulder shakes as soon as he touched the ball, something that would cause the defense to react and not relax
