Rico might sound angry but he’s really passionate out of love and respect for the game and helping all generations get better at organized ball. He’s 100% right. Pros aren’t just getting paid 25-50 mil to play iso. The little things matter a lot

I like what he said about guards not doing anything, everyone got use to the camera! Look at Vanfleet, plays hard and hurt, sets screens, controls tempo and my favorite thing he rebounds!!!
i love how the coach is expressing off ball movement a lot.. a lot of players want to be like allen iverson and expect and iso everytime they get the ball while people jus sit there.. thats not the right way to play at all and nba scouts are looking for more than just iso.. if your athletic and effective without the ball doing the screen and roll/pop or cuts.. then you’re using you as an advantage and scouts will look at that as a major positive.. good job disciplining them coach!
To be fair, iverson played shooting guard and got a ton of looks off ball because he was good at snaking around screens and catching the ball in motion
