I question the moral judgment of the Podcaster for not acknowledging that Siakam carried the team when they were down and has been a solid contributor to this success. His defense has been so on point against lethal opponents that would have crushed the Pacers otherwise. I wish many others players on the team could learn from him. He has just been great overall for this team and a wonderful addition. I command the Pacers Front Office team for picking up the right player to lift up the team. His playoff experience will come on very handy as well.

Be careful what you wish for. I absolutely hate that it's the Bucks , as you know, the series format is 2-2-1-1-1 and it's very likely that the Pacers end up 0-2 coming out of Fi-Serv Forum, which I hate because the Pacers would then have no margin for error. I'd say the probably of coming out of Milwaukee anything other than 0-2 is like 20% by the way the Pacers have been playing. They are a Jekyll & Hyde team, they can be just brutal. The Bucks have already announced that Giannis is a go for the first playoff game. This could be ugly, ugly, & more ugly trying to guard Dame & Giannis and all the other talent that they have on that team, just no easy way to guard Lopez either. The inconsistency on this Pacers team is incredible. Hali can't hit 3's, Turner is up one game, down the next, then injured the next., You NEVER know what you're going to get with Nesmith. Siakam is pretty reliable and McConnell has been playing fantastic....but defensively , they are like the stock-market. I mean the Pacers gave up 72 points to the friggin' ATL Hawks in the first half in a game that might as well have been a playoff game AT HOME!!!!! ☹😳🥺🤬🤬😠😡

@@zacharyhendershott I just don't get where all this overconfidence is coming from, Pacers will be coming home from Wisconsin 0-2, it's just how it's going to be, they are green and will struggle to hit 3's on the road, it's just what it is. But when back to the friendly confines of Gainbridge Fieldhouse, they will at least make some minor noise, .....it's all about baby-steps

Your wrong. Ive already corrected you on this.
Having Thaddeus Young was not the last time Pacers beat Milwaukee with Giannis.
They won by double digits last season WITHOUT Tyrese AT Milwaukee. Ive already corrected you on this on another podcast.
I honestly think that loss was the beginning of Milwaukee's tail spin. It messed with their invincibility.
They faced off one more after that even at the end of last season and Milwaukee was going to make a point and be up by at least 20 then sit their starters for the playoffs.
It was A 3 point game LATE in the 3rd quarter before Milwaukee pulled away once again WITHOUT Tyrese.
Im telling you that made Milwaukee question themselves because they thought Pacers were scrubs.
The whole league now knows differently.

I think it's been Turner's best season & Sunday was his best game. I think it was a game where he became the team's leader. I think he'll have his best few yrs coming up starting now. Hopefully he gets in the all-star game. He's not chasing blocks anymore either. If they happen, they happen. Improves his position to rebound, etc. As much as Turner dealt with & still always repp'd Indiana I think he deserves to retire a Pacer tbh

Goodness You need to teach Caitlin how to pretend Shes happy the Pacers won instead of undermining Myles performance and claiming Indiana treated the 5 games they played this Season as playoff games but Milwaukee didnt. Basically undermining the biggest turning point of this young teams season.
Why does She even cover the team? Goodness She seemed upset they won. Like somehow her ego was bruised since in your pre season podcasts She basically called Jalen and Jackson scrubs and felt like TJ shouldnt play and basically be a 3rd string point guard.
Fans are calling for Jackson to play, Jalen was shooting 44 percent from 3 most of the year and Tj arguably is the teams MVP.
Goodness We all get it wrong sonetimes. No need to hope for the team to fail to stroke your ego.
None of her blind followers on twitter never challenge Her and go along to get along so someone needs to call her out.
Pacers treated the 5 games they won 4-1 as playoff games but Milwaukee didnt. Thats why the Pacers won according to Caitlin.
    Whatever You say Caitlin

      She’s a realist for one.
Does anyone really think the Pacers are mentally tough enough to beat the Bucks in a playoff series?
Jalen Smith is soft and inconsistent and I personally believe Jarace Walker is a better player and will take Smith’s minutes next season.
I predict we will see Jackson some in this series, because someone’s gotta foul Giannis.

Love Ben Mathurin, but this team did get better after he was injured March 6. Yes, as Tony pointed out, 12-6 without Mathurin. It forced more minutes on TJ and he took it to the house, stepping up and scoring more than 6 pts/gm over his average to that point in season. The offense just moves better without Mathurin, as he is still learning to process the speed on offense needed to excel in Rick’s offense.

    • @clytnjms

Difficult to say. There were so many other changes as well that were coming into fruition.
Tyrese and Siakam are still figuring it out so that could have influenced it too.
Tj picked up the slack in a major bigtime way. I still think there are certain match ups and certain teams especially Milwaukee where Mathurin would be invaluable.
If true hopefully Mathurin is taking notes and gaining some humility. Very few NBA players that aren't replaceable. Only the best of the best

Do you think pacers can win series with bucks?i like the odds but we know its more difficult during playoffs. Whether with or without gianis this will be difficult for the pacers. Especially they are still inconsistent on defending. The hawks got it tied, if this is bucks it will be different. But it is the best match up they can have.

Pacers bench being good will be the difference maker. Bucks are top heavy and rely on Dame and Giannis for most of their offense. If we can just stop everyone but Giannis, he will gas out like he has against us all season.

    • @dabneyoffermein595
      @dabneyoffermein595 2 месяца назад

No, way too inconsistent and Carlisle, while a good coach, hasn't had his best moments in the last 20 games. Some games he has been brutal..no idea what they are thinking on defense sometimes, it's hard to watch. If Pacers get down big early to the Bucks in game 1, count the damn thing over.

    • @jeromecanon607
      @jeromecanon607 2 месяца назад

Agree...i think game 1 will really give us the hint if pacers will do good. Same with the play in. Once we saw them looking gus with boston we know we can beat even the bucks

I somewhat agree but i still fear the likes of middleton, and portis those 2 guys knows how to win whenever necessary not to mention they have pat bev who wants all the smoke. 😅
I think for me pacers need to be lights out offensively to win against them. Especially on 3s. If 6 to 7 pacers in double figures i think they have legitimately have the chance to beat bucks.
If bucks will be frustrated they will do some like draymond green stuff just to stir things up. Remmber that even gianis tried it with hali the last time.

  • @youtubesean

This Pacers team is too immature to win a consequential series against the Bucks.
This team needed to beat the Cavs and they couldn’t match the toughness of the Cavs from the opening jump.
Tyrese Haliburton is showing himself to be a true Generation Z player. Meaning, he’ll only be up for games if he has some personal motivation.
Playing the Bucks with Pascal Siakam will be an entirely new dynamic and the Pacers better feed him down low A LOT and put pressure on the Bucks bigs.
If the Pacers don’t make an effort to rebound in this series, it will over before it begins. I do not believe the Bucks fear the Pacers at all. They may respect the potential for our 3 point shooting, but they don’t fear us.
Carlisle will need to chew some butt way more than he wants to this post season.
