If it is a charity shop beginning with St it is likely to be a hospice and they only sell in the area they care in. The shop Emmaus is also in Sussex, but I didn't know it was elsewhere!

Love your videos, no harm in asking for a discount on price for damaged items, especially when they may not have realised. Love the jeans! 👖

I did the same yesterday for a jacket yesterday. It was stained and it’s not sure I’ll get the stain out. It’s a semi designer jacket so I’ll take the risk for only 4 euros lol

I honestly thought that was proper cheeky of them to not disclose the defect on those Moschinos. As large as the hole was, someone interested in them may well miss it for whatever reason. The fact the staff knew about it and priced it "accordingly" doesn't sit well with me. Good on you for calling them out on it; I hope they're still sitting there on the rail! Oops, that became a bit of a rant there; fantastic pick ups as usual!

We wouldn't normally say anything, but they weren't as seen and the rip wasn't repairable. However we went back the next week and they were gone!! So hopefully they've gone to a good home!

I found a Gudrun in my local shop and the reason I stopped to look it up was because I couldn’t make out the name (taken from your other video!) same with Agnes B and then they both appear in videos after! Yay me! Another great video. Really helping me understand ladies brands. Thank you

I would have done exactly the same and asked about the price. It's well out of order them not pointing out a fault. If they want to sell at that price, that's fine - but at least let people know there's damage.

I’m looking forward to your video about where to list and research brands apart from eBay comps - I only currently list on eBay as I follow a DailyRefinement type model of reselling but you’ve already helped me try to think outside of eBay comps.
Today I bought a pair of Joseph linen utility type trousers that retail at around £300 but the eBay comps were poor so I was having second thoughts even though they cost less than £5. I bought them because they look quality and the retail is high but I’m wondering where would be best to list such an item for maximum profit? Would Vesiaire be good for that sort of item?

I would personally cross list, over eBay, Vestiaire and depop - keeping the price consistent between them.
Higher end pieces especially those that hit a current fashion trend eg the utility style are always worth picking up.
The thing with eBay comps is they move the market which is dictated by trends. Y2K five years ago was pointless picking up, now it’s a gold mine.
Where as sites like Vestiaire specialise in brands and allow the user to browse easily that way, highlighting pieces better.
I’m sure you’ll have no problem with them!

Have you tried Vestiaire? They seem to sell relatively quickly on there!
