Thank you for the video and for the tips!
I use 2 cheap video lights that I got from amazon for about $55 each. They came with no batteries (4 18650 required). The lights work okay for the price (branded would cost me about $600 each with a similar LED). The problem I have with my lights is sometimes on depth power button stops working. So I turn them on before every descend and switch them off when I'm at the surface. Not very convenient, but inexpensive. In cold water switching on and off all the time is inconvenient anways.

    Like your bungy trick.
I don't like hard Goodman handle for that exact reason.
I use a semi hard with bungee.

Limited with decent cheap lights for cray diving here in Australia. Your ones look good, might try to find something similar.

I'm looking to buy a nice super bright dive light off aliexpress. I'm looking for one with a relatively narrow beam. Any recommendations? The one that you use (BORUiT 5*XM-L2) doesn't seem like a narrow beam.

Are you still using the light? I’m looking at buying one. Do you know what the beam angle is? other sellers say 60 degree but is it really that high?

Nice honest opinions. I have some Chinese u/water torches myself. Just open water for looking into holes etc. TOTALLY agree about the battery comment. Outrageous claims on the mAh ratings. Replaced with a proven battery and for little torches they have good burn time. Again to re-iterate I just looking in to holes NOT myself deep in the hole. How was the light colour? Mine give quite blue (cool temp.) which is OK for the eyes but really shows if there is video. Maybe the more pricy lights got the better LED colour range(spectrum).

This is exactly what I’m curious about. looking for some lights for my Gopro, but not willing to invest enormous money on it because I’m using it only occasionally. The question is if the light from the cheap produce is not too blue, which would be useless for a video.
