Second I was wondering if you can make a video of how to make a line marker holder that is safe enough to not lose the markers and yet easy enough to put them on and off of it. Why does battery install on right side and cable of light cross over the hose of main regulator to get light to left hand? Is there any standard for this style?

I've the riggid one and never doubted about that for all the presented reasons. Esp. putting it off and on Yr hand without irritating Your buddies!
I would say it helps vary much with having the light stable while your are taking in line on the reel.. its impossible to do with a soft handle….
