I'm from Syracuse, Ny. All I heard in high school was that a big earthquake was gonna hit California, Armageddon type stuff. I move to California 10 years, no earthquakes. Then biggest quake hits the east coast in a century. Lolz
I lived in Cali for a decade. There is no year where there were/ are no earthquakes there, but many people don't notice the minor ones. 😊

Just wait my friend. The longer it takes, the more tension builds up between the fault lines (supposedly). But we actually have tiny earthquakes here in the bay area every day that you cannot feel.
Yes. There are thousands of earthquakes every year that tend to go unnoticed by many. It becomes a regular thing to wake up and feel like the room is spinning; you see the picture frames shift and are reminded that it's just another earthquake. To walk down the street and not feel anything, but look over and see the pool water splashing over the sides when no one is in the pool is another type of reminder! @@Sage-iv7se

4.8, and lemme tell you, for states not used to this shit with buildings not designed for it, it's a little wild. I live 50 miles from the epicenter and my floor was moving. Coworker lives 17 miles from it and said her whole house shook.
