Thoroughly enjoyable video as usual, thank you for posting this! The first part of your trip along the Swdish coast and the islands brought back memories from a similar trip we did once. Mid April everything was closed and fuel had to be bought off fishermen... Great adventure though. Very much looking forward to the next episode!
Great videography, some stunning scenery... but lacking in boating content sorry. Loved the previous series however this is lacking in captivating content. Does it mean that I will not not watch the rest of the trip? Probably not. But it might mean that I do not bother with future ones if the edit is similar.
Hi Karamveer, thanks for your question - John's total fuel costs for this 3,190m trip were £9,525, so 2,000 miles would cost you just under £6,000, depending on where you refuel. The V39 has a top speed of 35 knots, so you could do 40 miles in an hour if you really wanted to, but that will push the mpg down to just 1.23. On our test drive in December 2012 (ruclips.net/video/BrjOA9kIxRM/видео.html) we found that the most efficient cruising speed was 27.1 knots (31.1 miles per hour), which returns 1.41mpg. Hope that helps!
@@MotorBoatYachting Thanku so much for such a deep info. I will help me alot. One more question. I am living in Canada and i was planning for sailing boat trip by sea from Canada to other part of world like Alaska and then Russia for my travel vlogs. Can u tell me which boat will best to select to travel in such a colder area. and i was thinking to travel in summer because the sea ice will at its melting stage and it will be easy to travel in sea. So plzz tell me
Hm, Not good. I liked the previous clips about „Going to Norway with the V39“ as they were so fascinating that I really made the V40 from Princess my favorite one. But this „Cruising to Russia“ - sorry to say - isn’t worthwhile watching. Nothing‘s in this Videos to make people fall in love with boating or choosing a Princess Yacht. In April it would be even more fun to take a ferry to St. Petersburg. Wish to see better documentations about these beautiful Princess yachts V39 or V40.
How privileged to be able to make such a trip but to moan on about being stuck in the middle of nowhere on a luxury boat for a few days, come on. if you literally have "no supplies, nothing at all" that's just stupid...

I must say your videos of going round the UK were better, these are ok but not the same standard as you have done in the past.
Could not have picked a worse boat for this trip, no range, no food supply, stick to day trips in and out of the marina.
@@johnfebaines That explains it then, enjoy your trip!
