I just finished a less sophisticated version of Slice of Hell, set up in my friend's house. The next time she goes into her house, the dispensers are going to spit out a hoard of ocelots.

It was funny for about thirty seconds before her game crashed and the ocelots escaped due to poor planning. I had to go into MCedit to erase all the ocelots in the area. Protip, if you want to use this trap, don't use it to spawn mobs. Other than that, it worked great!

i had not watched any let's build before seeing that let's play.. i cried i laughed so hard at ray getting hit with cake over and over again.
I'm making a recreation of Achievement City (minus the destructive stuff like TNT and lava) in honor of the AH crew for convincing me to join MC, and I wanna add the hidden cake shooter. Since I'm still new to MC and redstone in general, where can I get a clearer diagram of the wiring back there so I can make a replica?

ok there is already an Achievement City PC map but if you're doing your own then fair enough. The Minecraft Wiki has details about basic (and not so basic) redstone circuits, what you'll need is a SR (set-reset) latch coming from the pressure plate, the output of that enables a clock circuit, then that goes out to the dispensers. Simples. I built a replica a while ago, I can try and take some screenshots or something if you like.

Sorry for photos rather than screenshots, my PC has decided not to run Minecraft anymore, that's the PS3 version. Redstone should be the same on all versions now though.

Pistons are unable to push any block with a density similar to or higher than Obsidian unless reprogrammed to be able to be pushed by it. Unless you're some sort of wonder modder, no Obsidian piston pushing for you.

It started during the Wipeout course Let's Play. After a maze filled with fire, there was a cake block there to recover some health, but Ray's strategy was to "go cakeless", and it's been a running gag ever since.

It's a running joke in Achievement Hunter, in a very early Minecraft Let's Play episode they were doing a Wipeout Course and there was cake at the beginning if they wanted to regain some health (this was before the hunger system) and Ray decided to go "cakeless".

Theres a minecraft letsplay they did called wipeout, in it after one of the obstacles gavin and geoff put a cake for people to restore their health before the mext obstacle. when ray got to the cake he was like "fuck that im goin cakeless" and ever since its been a running gag that he hates cake

In their Let's Play of Minecraft: Wipe Out, there was a point where you could regain health by eating cake. Ray shouted "I'm going cakeless!" and since then has seen eating cake as a sign of weakness (for the lols, of course).

It all started in the Wipeout LP. There was a cake halfway through the course to eat if you lost health. Ray passed on the cake and went on to win the tower of pimps. He believes his victory was down to the fact he ran the course cakeless. Since then, he has refused to eat cake in Minecraft.
In the Minecraft Wipeout Course Let's Play, there was half a cake for them to restore a bit of health. Each time Ray got to it however, he skipped it, saying, "I'm going cakeless," since it would waste a bit of time.
In Let's Play 10: Wipeout, you can go through a course like in wipeout. Near the end, you can choose to eat cake to regain your health. Ray said no to the cake and everyone said he was going cakeless. He now hates cakes.
