What I'd like to know is why so many sets come with three cups...I mean I get why two or four or six, you know, evens...but why three? Just wonderin'.
Hi there, it is a good question, I'm sure there's multiple reasons. 1. The character "品", has three mouths. "品“ means taste. 2. Kungfu tea set from Chaoshan always have 3 teacups, because they use small Yixing teapot or Gaiwan, which is perfectly suit the size of three small teacups. 3. People think too many people will ruin the atmosphere of drinking tea, so three people will be better for tea drinking.
I have a color changing resin elephant tea pet. I call him Inspector Barnaby. I have decided that all of my tea pets will be named after fictional detectives.
