85-90 degrees depending on the humidity is about all i can take anymore. I rerely ride at home in the summer (Texas). I have to go to the mountains of New Mexico to survive.
Amazing scenery. When I was younger I could take the 100+ degree weather here in Vegas The older I get, the more I hate it. at 60 don't like it much over 70....lol
Yeah I’d say 95 degrees for that long of trip is pushing it for me - maybe 50 mile loop - I’ve ridden in hotter just for shorter periods - just passed on a trip this weekend due to the smoke and heat - 80 miler see ya in the Fall lol JK
I've ridden in 95, I'd do it again as long as I have water, and sugary stuff to keep my blood sugar from dropping, as I am diabetic. I'd say 100F is my cut off, because unless you're going fast... Nah, it just ain't gonna be any fun.
Thanks!
Thanks for your support! 🙏
Great terrain; what sweet single track, and thank you for the views; where you stopped, that was amazing.
Thank you so much for showing us those spectacular views 😊😊👏
Glad to have you out this direction!

You go on the coolest rides on the coolest bikes
Thanks! I try to get to new places every year.
Rode 120° in AZ last month. Had to stop extremely frequent for water and to let the bike cool.
You crazy! LOL.
Any weather temperatures might tolerate to enjoy the big country rides you go on . Nice .
I love the heat. Just wish i had people to ride with. As i get older theirs almost nobody i know my age that has a dirtbike.
I love riding by myself, about half my rides are solo. Groups I don't like more than 4-5 at a time.
@@PNWEnduro i like riding with at least one other person. Some one to share in the experience.
@@ryandevall-Albertawhere do you live bro? If happen to be in SoCal I’m in the same situation.
@@nickv3085 Im in Central Alberta bud

how do you like new closed cartridge suspension compared to old open cartridge on this type of bumpy rocky trails?
The first stop which you talked about stopping more for scenery what was the appropriate elevation?
Around 6000’.
My cut off is 30C in the trees or 35C in the open with wind. Either one is way tooooo hot.
It depends on the riding.. if its flowy and can keep it moving I don’t mind the heat but if it’s slower and more technical about 28-30C is my cutoff
Yeah, normally that's my cutoff for any ride. I rode in 25 once I got back home and it felt so nice!
People on the east coast: “you know nothing of heat” 😂😂
Here in Canada we all live in Igloos and it only gets above freezing for two weeks every summer, I'm not built for the heat.

Was that snow and 95 degrees?
Sure was! It was nice to cool off in the snow, temporary relief.
That’s amazing would love to get out there someday 👍
You still running the JX8 for these kind of rides?
Always JX8 on the 2T.

43C/110F in Kamloops
I’ve always wanted to ride out that way (I’m in AB) but the only time I can go is July/August and I’m not built for that heat 😂
110 degrees
I seriously think I'd die.

85 is bout my cut
I’ve done 35c and no bueno. Way too hot.
If it was a local ride I'd stay home but this trip was planned months in advance. Bad timing with the heat wave.
@@PNWEnduro still epic buddy! I love these alpine videos! 👌🏻
much more than 95 and it's not worth it .
