I am the owner of the shop for the display cases. Thank you so much for doing this! Just wanted to add some detail. In the past year we have switched our handle styles to a solid metal handle. This is a great video on everything! Again thank you so much for doing this!
Thanks for that info! So happy to help get the word out about your incredible business!
Thank you for this information. My first market is this weekend and this video answered a lot of my questions. Your mom seems so sweet 😊
I am so glad someone thought about this issues that are important for everyone who wants to sell their crafts.
Thank you so much.😊🇵🇹
Thanks for watching!!
The PayPal or cashapp payment isn’t always a scam, I am a vendor here in Florida and I have 2 events where I pay through PayPal and cashapp. Just make sure you really look into this event before you pay! Great video and tips!
Kelci- you give the absolute best advice! I've definitely learned some integral information since I've recently joined the polymer clay world because of you! You thoroughly, yet simply explain things
& I want to say: THANKS!!!!!
She’s truly the best!!
Thank-you so much! This video was super helpful! I'm about to do my first market in a couple of months so this has given me so many helpful tips!
Kelci, thank you for all your work on this video! I learned lots and hope my first market in May will be a success.
This was so helpful! Thank you so much for all of the valuable information ❤
You’re welcome! Thanks for watching!
Very informative. I appreciate your time to help others have their best chance for success.
Honestly the pricing surprised me! I sell my dangles for $12-$15, studs for $5
Thank you for all the great tips. How do you use or set up the lighting fixtures?
Brilliant video, thank you!🇦🇺❤️
I am an earring seller too, going in to my third year or markets. Most of this information is accurate but the payment advice is outdated. More and more legitimate markets will not accept cheques, only electronic payment. Just because a market is electronic payment only, does not mean a scam. In fact my best market only accepts electronic payments.
Better advice would be to go to established markets with a strong social media presence (not a new account or one that rarely posts). Ask about attendance numbers, demographics, other confirmed vendors, advertising, and cancellation policy in case of weather or other unforeseen circumstance. If they can’t answer these questions, then there is a problem. To further protect yourself, pay with PayPal or credit card so that you have recourse in case it is a scam. And always get a contract.
This is great advice! Thank you so much! I just know that’s been the case for my area but did not think about other areas, I apologize! Thank you for sharing your knowledge!! ❤
Thanks for adding to the conversation. There’s always so much to learn!
Yes! I sell in New York City and all of my markets have been paid via Venmo. They are all very legit and I have been good money with them. If you're worried about it being a scam, i recommend looking through their tagged photos on Instagram to see who is advertising that they are selling with them. You can always reach out to those venders too.
Thank you so much for always sharing useful content. Do you have a video or resources on bookkeeping for a polymer clay jewelry business?
you're welcome! No, i outsource my bookkeeping!
@@RaisingNobles Thanks for responding.
Such great tips! I’ve been doing markets for about a year now, and definitely learned some things that I’m going to work into my setup!! Thank you for all the work you did with creating this video ❤️
Any thoughts of doing a video like this on wholesale? 😉😁
So glad you found the video helpful!! I’ll definitely ask Kelci about the wholesale video 😉😉
Question…for multiple day events, do you leave your product out over night or put everything away and set up again the next morning? This would be more for an indoor market. I would think at an outdoor you’d almost have to put a lot of it away in case of overnight weather, correct?
Also, great video! Very informative!
Hi! I just started making clay earrings a couple months ago and just applied to sell at a local market for the first time so this video came at the perfect time! How do you collect sales tax for cash payments? Or do you only add the sale taxes if they pay with credit/debit? Thanks for the video!
I personally only add sales tax for credit/debit card payments
