Did that one had strips on then before, that's where I'd give them a blast of OA if it was me. Clean bees is Happy Bees. I wana get one of the new style cups, they don't leak like these ones. Tell your buddy Hi from Dave.
Ok literally the only mite test video I have watched this season, make it a good one Harris.😂 I decided I know what I need to do and how to do it, no need to watch the 100's of mite videos that come out this time of year. Blessed Days buddy...
Thymol has some good reviews, unfortunately, it's not effective in my area of central Otago because our main nectar producing plant here is thyme, which is where thymol comes from 😂 probably the only area in new Zealand where it's not very effective and I think the essential oils in our thyme that the bee's bring in with them during foraging do have a effect on mite counts here👍
@@harrisjoubertwithsleepycre1924 actually that's an interesting point, I've never encountered chalkbrood in hives on thyme nectar and perhaps that's why I don't, you do see chalkbrood closer to the coast here. Thyme only grows in my area of central Otago

I have not found lots of research on it, but it says you can add it to feed. might help with my chalk brood in the winter if they stored some
