I don’t like RUclipsrs copy- paste reasoning - get disc PS5 slim because it’s cheaper. No get disc version if you want to buy games on disc and own PS4 disc collection. For everyone else just get digital and for difference in price get a headset, controller, stand, charging station, PS+, ssd or any other accessory or service that you want. If you ever want to use discs you can buy disc drive the option is there for you. To sum it all up. Don’t look at the price, look at features that will meet your needs now.

If you go on the actual PlayStation website, the digital version is cheaper by 50 bucks. It makes sense, they want everyone to go digital, and if you have a disk drive that’s basically more features and options overall because now you have the option to get digital or tangible disc games!
I think rather then spending more for disc drive version of slim buy digital version and buy games of the money that you have saved form buying the disc drive version (later if you want you can upgrade it to disc)

I managed to find a PS5 slim digital version for about $430 on the GameStop site, and found the disk version for $440 and decided I might as well get the disk version since I also have a few disk games I'll wanna play on it either way. Plus it's definitely better than just spending $80 on the disk drive by itself
PS5 digital is currently £350 in the UK, I was looking today on amazon but quickly sold out so I plan on maybe getting it on the Sony store itself. If you can add the disc drive later I could always ask for it as a gift in the future at no real extra cost considering the discounted prices. I already have the Series X so most PS4 games were available on Xbox one so that removes that issue. I just really want a PS5 to play the exclusives and experience the controller.
Here in Spain the slim digital is 450€ while the physical is 550€, keep in mind the disk is a whopping 130€. I think I’m going to go for the digital as I mostly never use disks, this a good call?

I lived in Spain and no game cost 130€ unless is a special version or a gold version. Price is 70€
