@@ManForHimself I'll be using Sea Salt Spray, instead of Kevin Murphy's Anti-Gravity Spray. Other than that, it's gonna be the same. I'm sure it'll come out well!
Thank you Robin. ❤️ You and Joe(Blumaan) have helped me in the last few weeks, as I am a late subscriber and late enthusiast of hair styling in general; to boost my self esteem. I feel much happier these days. Still working on training my hair but improving thanks to your videos and your wonderful fan base. ❤️
Also I never thought to use tiny bits at a time and 'building' with a product I've always just used a lot at once but never had that great a hold. Thanks for the tip!
This is the best hair tutorial on RUclips I love this guy.y hair now looks soooooo much better with me using some sea salt spray a hair dryer and a decent hair product. I loooooove the Fudge sea salt spray and fudge Matt wax it’s wonderful. Thanks Robin!
@@ManForHimself Are you thinking about reviewing more Homebrewer products anytime soon? Such as Lockharts or Shear Revival, or Flagship, Nostalgic, First-hand, or O'Douds?
I've followed your lead & let my sides grow in. I like it. It does help me look a little more mature compared to when I would fade my sides. I'll try this out for a while longer.
Hi Robin, I really like the new hairstyle. I know your growing it out and I wondered if you could do a video on your next barber visit? Enjoy your day!
Awesome, really like this hairstyle. You are really liking Antigravity, are we expecting a product review here or maybe a Battle of the Anti gravity , Kevin Murphy vs Lockharts
Great video as always, Ive been watching some of ur older videos about hair mousse and the products you recommend. Unfortunately, the product is no longer available on Amazon. Is it possible you can recommend a hair mousse product for increased volume?
@@ManForHimself hello Robin! That pre styler spray looks interesting. Have you try the other one? I think the beach resort one? If yes, what is the difference? I'm very interested in trying Kevin Murphy
yo mr james will u ever do a tutorial on how to cut n style your magnificent handlebars stache, I'm growing my mustache out to do your style it looks so cool
i am a big fan of your classic side part but this one looks even better in my opinion! The longer sides make the hair cut a perfect mix between a modern and young hair cut and a classic one! definitely not too young for you !
also: I am very curious about the kevin murphy pre styler, can you review it? I am looking to move away from sea salt spray as it makes my hair very dry (at least i feel like it does). Ive tried aveda thickening tonic, but i am not completely happy with it. Do you have any other suggestions?
i like the sidepart better on you, Robin! a gentleman like you needs that sidepart! :) great to try something new once in a while. you look way younger with this hairstyle!
great video man! tip for people out there, i wouldn’t do the layering bit with an oil based clay or something cause that’ll be literally impossible to get off your hands and hair
Robin thank you for the videos :), i would like your help when I step out the shower my hair is really dry even though I use conditioner after I shampoo is there anyway to give it life without applying a lot of product into it
Great video! Would mousse work as well? I feel like it would give you more volume, which is what you're going for but is there a specific reason you don't prefer it?
@@ManForHimself thanks for the reply. I'm still a rookie at hairstyling and I find mousse to be an easy way of getting volume without too much technique. I want to try out different pre stylers in the future, and I love how there's many options on your channel I can learn from. Extremely helpful since I have fine hair similar to yours, you are my go to for hair videos and I'm super grateful. Keep it up!
Oil - Based products might possibly cover the hair follicles so that could have some risk to hair growth if not properly removed. But Water-Based Products and Hairspray are good for people who want more clean hair, but I would still recommend washing it out with water everyday, you can shampoo once or twice a week if you're using those types of products. I notice I lose a lot of hair when I comb it, but it's normal.
You guys asked for it, so here it is!
I absolutely like the way that you teach how to do it. Thanks a lot.
Should I wash my hair with shampoo everytime I put on hair products?

Has to be done! You are v. welcome.
Love that you changed the side of the side part it looks wayyyy better when it’s volumised and with a styling product that’s not pomade
Glad you liked it, Jose.

Starting to look like Jimmy Neutron in the video lmao
Ha ha... I started 5 years ago.

Cool quiff robin
Thanks!
Great looking hairstyle on you.
Tysm, I’ve been feeling rlly insecure about my hair lately and this might work to make it look good. It’s kinda late so might update tmr morning
longer hair on sides suit you very well Robin. Happy to see more and more people giving up on that undercut trend
Thanks Estelle!

Ooh, let me know how it goes!
Thank you Robin for your dedication and for teaching us how to properly do it! ❤️
You are always very welcome.
I was also wondering how you did it. It turns out it’s pretty similar to what I do, minus the hairdryer. Great video!
Great minds!
Hey Robin! This video helped me out so much. Thank you 😊
This is good, Tracey!
Old school robin is back
Upgraded. ;-)
Robin do you think that longer sides is becoming a trend?
Of course!
@@ManForHimself Thanks! That is why I have been growing it out.
I'm so thankful people are switching from undercut to something like this.

Where is the jacket you’re wearing in the photo from (0:16) ?
Can you do a review on the Osis+ Flexwax 4 please?

Hey Robin when I ask for a haircut what do I tell the barber so that my hair grows to something like yours?
Thank you sir
what is an alternative for the hair balm? I can't get it.

Thanks! Good to have you on board.
great video man! tip for people out there, i wouldn’t do the layering bit with an oil based clay or something cause that’ll be literally impossible to get off your hands and hair
I'd still layer it, for sure! But you wouldn't use that for this hairstyle. Keep it light!
great video! Ever thought of doing a full day of eating?
Hey! Not really. I'm not sure how exciting it would be. Ha ha.
This video has saved my life. Well, my wallet as I was going to get another haircut as my quiff likes to fall back down. Subscribed.

Thanks!
Robin James no problem!
it's more like messy pompadour
quiff should be combed forward and boost up in the front
it suits you bro 👌🏻👌🏻
Thank you.
Robin do you ever just have days when you use no product and just wash it and let it dry cuz that also looks good on u. Like at 0:49
I do! I give my hair days off.
Is that pre style spray better than a mousse?
If you want it to be malleable, yes. Mousse gives more volume and structure though.
You look so goood!
Thanks Anthony.
Good job

Where do I find these amazing products !
All in the description.
1 hour later and half a jar later you have an amazing hairstyle.
How many sprays u think enough for the prestyle?
Depends on your hair. How thick it is and how much volume is needed.
my hair is very similar to yours. So how much spray u usally do in ur hair ?
I just remember your first video of Quiff How To and I suprised how fast is the time :(
I feel nostalgic :'(
Me too! So fast.
Do you still use aveda thickening tonic or have you moved on from it?
