Thank you Robin. ❤️ You and Joe(Blumaan) have helped me in the last few weeks, as I am a late subscriber and late enthusiast of hair styling in general; to boost my self esteem. I feel much happier these days. Still working on training my hair but improving thanks to your videos and your wonderful fan base. ❤️
@@ManForHimself I'll be using Sea Salt Spray, instead of Kevin Murphy's Anti-Gravity Spray. Other than that, it's gonna be the same. I'm sure it'll come out well!
Also I never thought to use tiny bits at a time and 'building' with a product I've always just used a lot at once but never had that great a hold. Thanks for the tip!
This is the best hair tutorial on RUclips I love this guy.y hair now looks soooooo much better with me using some sea salt spray a hair dryer and a decent hair product. I loooooove the Fudge sea salt spray and fudge Matt wax it’s wonderful. Thanks Robin!
I've followed your lead & let my sides grow in. I like it. It does help me look a little more mature compared to when I would fade my sides. I'll try this out for a while longer.
@@ManForHimself Are you thinking about reviewing more Homebrewer products anytime soon? Such as Lockharts or Shear Revival, or Flagship, Nostalgic, First-hand, or O'Douds?
great video man! tip for people out there, i wouldn’t do the layering bit with an oil based clay or something cause that’ll be literally impossible to get off your hands and hair
i am a big fan of your classic side part but this one looks even better in my opinion! The longer sides make the hair cut a perfect mix between a modern and young hair cut and a classic one! definitely not too young for you !
also: I am very curious about the kevin murphy pre styler, can you review it? I am looking to move away from sea salt spray as it makes my hair very dry (at least i feel like it does). Ive tried aveda thickening tonic, but i am not completely happy with it. Do you have any other suggestions?
Hi Robin, I really like the new hairstyle. I know your growing it out and I wondered if you could do a video on your next barber visit? Enjoy your day!
Great video as always, Ive been watching some of ur older videos about hair mousse and the products you recommend. Unfortunately, the product is no longer available on Amazon. Is it possible you can recommend a hair mousse product for increased volume?
i like the sidepart better on you, Robin! a gentleman like you needs that sidepart! :) great to try something new once in a while. you look way younger with this hairstyle!
Awesome, really like this hairstyle. You are really liking Antigravity, are we expecting a product review here or maybe a Battle of the Anti gravity , Kevin Murphy vs Lockharts
@@ManForHimself hello Robin! That pre styler spray looks interesting. Have you try the other one? I think the beach resort one? If yes, what is the difference? I'm very interested in trying Kevin Murphy
Robin thank you for the videos :), i would like your help when I step out the shower my hair is really dry even though I use conditioner after I shampoo is there anyway to give it life without applying a lot of product into it
Need some help if possible. I do a quiff hairstyle and as a prestyler I use a sea salt spray, but was thinking about using a mousse since alot of robins quiff videos he uses them. I have fine, straight hair and I don't want shine but I want some volume. Any opinions on which is better to use?
yo mr james will u ever do a tutorial on how to cut n style your magnificent handlebars stache, I'm growing my mustache out to do your style it looks so cool
Great video! Would mousse work as well? I feel like it would give you more volume, which is what you're going for but is there a specific reason you don't prefer it?
@@ManForHimself thanks for the reply. I'm still a rookie at hairstyling and I find mousse to be an easy way of getting volume without too much technique. I want to try out different pre stylers in the future, and I love how there's many options on your channel I can learn from. Extremely helpful since I have fine hair similar to yours, you are my go to for hair videos and I'm super grateful. Keep it up!
Hello ! I'd like to ask about the undercut. I'm currently trying it out and I feel that the hair on side of the top of my head is potentially short as it's a bit stubborn and sticks out (it's worse on the one side). Will that improve when the hair gets longer ? Also can you add a heat protectant spray with a sea salt spray together ? Finally could you maybe make a video on hair dryer recommendations (mainly budget ones please). Thank you !
Hey! Yes, it should get easier as the hair gets longer and heavier. You can use a heat protectant with sea salt spray... but I'd check to see if the spray has a protectant in it already.
@@ManForHimself At the moment I have black label craft clay and black label black mist pre styling spray (I think it's a sea salt spray). They seem pretty good and they're the first kind of premium products I've bought. Btw I have long thick hair so I think the clay is good for me but if you have any other recommendations for my hair type with a low shine and good hold (I really can't decide between pastes, puttys I really don't know the differences) that would be appreciated
I have straight, thin dry hair ,dry scalp so I cannot use a blow drier (it has damaged my hair many times), so which type of product all alone would be good for this hairstyle
Hi Robin, I love your brand battle videos! However, could you do a video with your top 5 clays?, And if you can... rank them from 1-5 - there is so many options. So far I seem to stick with Caviler Clay by Blumaan. But I’m sure there is better
Robin James thank you very much! You are awesome. Keep up the great work For me personally, I need a high hold matte finish product. But I’d also love to know your favourite products!
Can you make a video about fine hair and haircuts that work the best with the hair type - I know you have that hair type but my hair doesn’t seem to be like yours and I’ve had fine hair since I was very young so it’s not thinning however it doesn’t look like yours. I care so much about hair and feel like I can’t do much with it :(((
Hi Robin, on your video called "2 Men's Hairstyles for Prom | 2016" , you used a product called American Crew Liquid Wax, on Amazon it's only £7.96 - 150ml , I was going to get it because you did a very neat slicked side part with it, but I just wanted to know what you think of it or any others reading this think. I usually use Water-Based Pomades but after seeing how nice that Hairstyle looked on you I was thinking of trying it out. Also nice Hairstyle Robin, I don't do much volume in my hair, I like looking very smart and neat all the time.
Robin how often do you use hairspray in a week and aren't you afraid to mess your hair up as hairsprays do contain loads of alcohol which tend to dry the scalp up over time?
You guys asked for it, so here it is!
I absolutely like the way that you teach how to do it. Thanks a lot.
Should I wash my hair with shampoo everytime I put on hair products?
