15:40 not sure if you mentioned this in the video/stream as I kinda skipped around a bit, but notice that not only did you barely win, but you won by the tie breaker rule that says if both people die to fatigue in the same tick, the active player (you, as the opponents are not actively playing in real time) receives a win. So the other person could have played that same board into yours and it would be a win for them. Insanely lucky, possibly understated

To me it feels a little like Rangers are at the mercy of Reapers
Like you can just score wins with Reaper by doing random defensive stuff early and later you have a strong build anyway. Whereas Rangers need to work a little harder to get enough damage early etc
I see it the complete opposite way.
Ranger: plays 3 random weapons on turn 1 and can't be beaten.
Reaper: plays fifteen perfectly synergistic poison items and dies six seconds into the turn because Ranger burst go brrrrrrrr.
Rangers have like seven viable builds, reapers have maybe three.
Big issue with reaper is their start is either extremely good or complete trash. With luck you can survive as ranger way easier.
If you watch the stream he lost rank attempting to make this build work.

Maybe it also has to do with personal preference. I enjoy slow/defensive/controlling builds more than offensive ones, so maybe I struggle more than others against Reapers when playing Ranger

My guy said lamp was kinda troll when it effectively did nearly 50% of his dog and if he had versed a good build with no blind it would have saved him
You should try a built that use only yellow gems without Weapons, only with healing Goubert. It can go to the 500+ heat. When it works its kinda unstoppable. Maybe with Chonk or weapons that do not use stamina like daggers.
Of course also you should use birds and fenny packs. And buy at least 4 or 5 boxes. You need a lots of money but it's wild.

This game is best when fatigue reaper is playable.

Just farm sapphires or go spectral dagger.

No joke guys, dont believe me if you dont want to but i came up with this build as soon as the moon shield came out. Except i had no weapons and a bunch of yellow gems (as many as i can get). Generating heat fast cuz my stamina is full with birds and have few crowns. If they dont burst me down in like 6 seconds, my heat will be high enough (plus random buffs from mana orbs) for the vampiric armour to last till fatigue and then its gg for them. What a fantastic build, im glad you found it too
Yeah that's just infinite heat with armor instead of poison goob. If you're not master tier the build isn't viable.
