- This is what happens when two pilots don't use CRM.
Luckily, out of the 160 people on board, all survived. With only 8 sustaining injuries.
Korean Air Flight 2033 was a scheduled passenger flight from Seoul to Jeju, South Korea. On 10 August 1994, the Airbus A300 serving the route overran the runway on landing at Jeju International Airport in poor weather and burst into flames. All 160 people on board escaped without serious injury, but the aircraft was destroyed
Thank you for uploading this footage, let alone uploading at all today.
Your videos help me understand and learn about planes, as well as accidents which I now research regularly. :)
You’re very welcome! I will be uploading more regularly! I hope to be able to deliver to your satisfaction :)
@@DeclaringAnEmergencyThis comment deserves a pin. Never seen anyone this nice😢🤧

@@plenloverOFFICIAL Hi thank you! what request would like me to do?
Welcome back buddy! Its good to see you back to youtube, btw how do you get the cvr plane crash? Can you show me please🙏🙏
LET'S GO THE LEGEND RETURNED
NICE! YOU’VE FINALLY RETURNED! Can you do Bek Air 2100 or American Airlines 191?
191 doesn’t really have a cvr, only atc
@@moontrainz3790It has a cvr, but it disconnects at V1.
I remember this one. It was a VERY unstabilized approach. The F/O and another pilot on the cabin were trying to alert the captain to abort the landing and initiate a Go Around, but he refused.
Thanks homie
HES BACK!!!!!!
Crazy
OHHHHHHHHHH YOURE AGAIN BACK!!!!
AND THATS KAL2033!!!!!!!
What a mess! Seems like they were fighting each other for control of the aircraft...
YOUR BACK!!!
YOUR BACK!!!
Can you do Bek Air Flight 2100. I'd be happy of you do it!
1:06 the sound is Austral Lineas Aereas 2553
i'm all for crm and i understand the value in it... but what happens if you are the f/o and the approach looks like shit and the capt calls "we're landing" what do you do? do you forcibly remove the capt from his seat? short final is a very bad time to start arguing about what to do next, they absolutely NEED to have a plan and be on the same page... and that may not be as easy as it sounds, the PF might still think the situation is fixable while the PM may not.. what happens then? the ground is mere seconds away, no time to debate
But there’s something sad about this you see you know the captain in this plane right he died from cancer after returning to Canada in 1997 RIP to him
Rip captain Barry Edward Woods..... Fly high woods 🫡🫡🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅🐦🐦 ✈️✈️✈️ ❤❤❤❤❤
First thanks
wow! how you did that?
Your back!
These two pilots were clearly dumb. They slept through the landing like an idiot, which clearly means 8 people were injured.
역시 우리나라
Hey!
Whaddap!
Who’s fault was it
both
no i tought it the F/O aka flight oficer @@AugustTha2nd
As I understand: both. The first officer was right to note that the approach speed was much higher than indicated for the conditions at the time. (Also, the plane touched down more than halfway down the runway, so with high speed and less runway this was already a dangerous landing.) But he was wrong when he tried to initiate go-around against the captain's wishes and also below the decision height.
The Korean
They should have decided what the plan was sooner and without arguing but i think a landing overrun is a better outcome that trying to go around and not being able to
Do pan am 103

What the F/O may have said was: "Fuck that" or "Thrust back"
Fuck that
There was another pilot in the jumpseat
