Hello!
In this video I will be showing you how the mob spawn works as well as how to deal with them!
This guide doesn't cover how O'saa would deal with them, however, we all know how strong O'saa is, but if you guys want me to cover O'saa against Mob then I will be doing that at some point.

Fear & Hunger is a rogue-like horror JRPG that uses the classic turn-based strategic dismemberment combat system. It has countless secrets, randomized events to give players a new experience each time, included with original soundtracks inspired by the works of Akira Yamaoka.
Fear & Hunger has hours of unforgettable gameplay with diverse character classes and many more different characters to meet and play with. Your fate will be destined with the following action. . . Head, or Tails? Call it and don't forget it was your choice to begin with.
While the gameplay mechanics and art, as well as the previously mentioned songs inspire people to try out the game day and night, what keeps making people come back to the series is the insane amount of replayability, either due to a different starting character or a different build that will increase your strength early game while having a few difficult spikes near the late game obstacles.
It is no surprise that knowledge is what carries a player forward throughout the playthrough, Thus, the more knowledge one has over the many enemies they'll be facing the easier it is going to be to see such things as but easy challenges to the point of not even saving throughout an entire run.
The amount of knowledge that both games (Fear and hunger - Fear and hunger 2 : Termina) provide to the player will get stuck to the player's brain, resulting in not being able to go back to a state where they didn't know how to tackle situations. This is both beneficial and a weakness from the game as once you properly know how to tackle, for example: a Prison Guard then you will not have the benefit of figuring out their puzzle fight.
Every single monster is a puzzle and it's up to the player to blindly figure it out to the answer.
Prison Guard Battle:
The question will still remain in the players. . . Which limb to remove first?
Is it the arm? (Is the Prison Guard going to be grabbing me in the first turn?)
Is it the arm with the knife? (Is it going to cut my arm or is he going to do it in the 2nd turn?)
Is the stinger the actual threat? (Maybe it's not there for decoration and it has a purpose to it?)
Once you figure out how to properly defeat such enemies, you will be able to push yourself forward more and more, to even learning how to evade them without having to get into a fight with a single enemy in your playthrough.

In case you want to fight the mob directly, if you use rot on the mob the meat grinder guy will for some reason turn into a mallet guy, making the fight much easier

Wow that's really helpful, thanks! I lost 3 hours of progress to these guys yesterday + they messed up my only chance to kill August for ending C so they f-ed me over big time. I'm definetely using the cheese for my next playthrough and I won't even feel bad for "cheating", these guys suck and always appear at the worst times
They really are the worst, don't be afraid to cheat against these run killers! :>
I feel like that this is ok in fear and hunger. It is a game mechanic. If you can kill them this way, its fair game.

The woodsman ain't got shit on the mob when it comes to noobstomping
Yeah, he's been at Rank 1 of many people's tier lists
Neither does needles or the beekeeper or even the freaking gentleman.
The mob is just unfair, you can play around the woodsman, beekeeper, and needles and just use tons of drugs and buffs for the gentleman.
Hell I bet even Death Masks are Easier to deal with.
You can't play around 3 randomly spawning enemies who gank you and force you into a fight that makes the bosses look easy.

You know what the mob reminds me of?
The convicts from deadrising
They're both
>A 3 man team.
>A huge spike in difficulty for newbies.
>Appear in an area outside of the starting/tutorial area.
>Serve as the gatekeepers between you and the rest of the game.
>It's generally recommended to avoid at all costs and come back when you're better equipped to take them on.
>Have a battle OST that just OOZES with "you're fucked" vibes.
>Failure can cost you precious time in a run.
>They have cheesy exploits that can trivialize the fights.
>And they drop an extremely useful item that makes runs easier.

one thing is false, the meat mallet enemy is shootable and killable. you just need to be 2 tiles close to him or else the shots won't connect.
That's very strange, I speedrun this game and I was never able to shoot him in my runs :o

A litte bit unrelated but once i truggered a Mob in a really bad spot in a run with huge progress. Two members of my party were weak from hunger, dealing little damage and the other one was unarmed, dealing even less damage, but i couldn't give up. (I also didn't have much op skills at the time)
I had 14 glass pieces, a dream and some good RNG... Clucthed it with little to no damage

Thanks for this, but don’t they have other locations where they can spawn?
There are more places where the mob will spawn, however, as for a player who is accessing the city; this would be the usual spot that people struggle with.
Based on this technique, one can figure out spots where they can kill enemies and block the mob from approaching them.
I did not showcase the places where the MOB spawns as I've only shown this one in the video.
Though, if you kill the mob here, it won't show up in the other places where you can get MOB%

What about dealing without cheat?
black smog from the gro goroth and gas canister, meat grinder guy is the only one that can cut off limbs iirc
they can also be fought separately but they have to be far away from each other
This fight is frustrating because of how the enemies can split up & die in different parts of the map, multiple times now the meat grinder’s body disappears & I lose the bench grinder weapon 😤
Yeah its quite glitchy.
The only way I learnt to safely loot is to deal with them in that one spot near the big red sign.
But yeah, you either need guns or Black Smog.
Or a heavy stunlock on the chainsaw guy

No.
Is mob exclusive to fear and hunger and maso mode?
Yes. There is no mob in easy mode
They also spawn in Fear & Hunger mode.
The only case where they're disabled is Easier mode

No, once they are dealt with, they are gone forever
