"I got to catch my breath here," .... and then goes right back to talking. Besides his unbelievable natural athleticism his cardio is so top level. And when he was out with his appendix stuff Nina talked about how much they missed the energy he brings. How can anyone not be a huge fan of this young racer?
The triple. 'Let me just casually launch into the stratosphere'
To be THAT focused on what he's thinking/saying, yet THAT focused on riding THAT fast on such steep terrain in that bottom half, is so next level!!! Not sure people realize how incredibly difficult that is to be that "ambidextrous" with two completely separate brain waves. It's like a world class drummer's separation between hands and feet with the rhythm. Btw that "triple" was mind blowing.

I know he's not a big fella, but his balls must be enormous! His acceleration is phenomenal, how he pumps and uses momentum with the downslopes is just awesome .. ;)

seems like an ok track but honesty the technical sections don't really look too bad. just seems like they've repurposed a flow track more than anything.

Can’t wait for the UCI to cut all the cool Moto shit at the top section.
There will be no close times for top racers as the gaps will be in many seconds due to this type of course.

Jackson rode super cool as always. But 80% of the track is more of an enduro track? And even for enduro racers probably still too low🤔🤔🤔

almost no line choice at all and people wonder, why the timings are so close this year... it's like a roller coaster and we watch who can ride it the fastest..
There's loads of line choice in the bottom half, I know from speaking to some people there a lot of the riders are puzzling over line choice. Plus the wet weather will make things even trickier

I was thinking the same thing. Curious who it will suit better. It isn't technical and it is pretty long. Thinking this will help the fittest riders move up a few positions.
I think times will be tight but there are a couple sections with a few lines. I think getting creative will win it, maybe Jackson.
And I thought the course at Pietermaritzburg was shit!!! This is just a glorified flow track, not a WC course.
You might want to watch some of the raw footage and listen to what the riders are saying. It's 100% good enough for a WC course.
