After I broke up with my ex and was heartbroken and lost and the relationship took such an emotional and mental toll on me that I developed insomnia for 8 months. I realized that the person I used to be was gone and I could never go back... I was truly broken. Then I started listening to these videos and realized that it was a defining point in my life. I had wiped a clean slate and had the opportunity to recreate myself. I wanted to be someone who was focused on their goals, grateful, caring, successful, disciplined, confident. All these traits that I didn't have. Then slowly and consistently I started to become that by listening to these motivational videos and reading and rewriting my goals. Now I've started my own business and creating life on my terms. So thank you for these.

I have competed 5 times and qualified for nations four times. I started at the age of 44. My motto since I was 16 was “BEAT THE ODDS”. Id hate to admit that im 22 and Im 2/3rds of the way getting my High School diploma at my local adult school because of bad choices I made. I'm 32, a few months ago started living at home with my parents and my two brothers, I'm in debt, recently just went through a brutal break up, and I have been struggling with complex trauma spreads throughout my life. From combat ptsd to childhood. Life beat me down, and it's kept me in its dark embrace for years - but I learned to embrace the pain, and learn that all of that pain is a lesson, it breeds growth from the heart, its where true resolve is born. In the last few months I've began to attend therapy, set a financial plan that I've stuck to, quit smoking, exercise regularly, found a job I'm actually happy with, and have finally for the first time started to find me. Im far from reaching my dreams, but every day I get closer my life only gets better - it's much more fun playing the main character in life, instead of an npc.

sallyf33 it’s never too late, I’m 28 and I feel at times I’m running out of time but that’s society and their standards they try to make anything after 30 seem old and done. Gary vee said at 40 he feels amazing like he can keep going and going and he said when he was in his 20s he thought he would feel finished at 40. It’s never too late I hope you find your rhythm and find whatever you are searching for stay strong stay blessed

I'm 32, a few months ago started living at home with my parents and my two brothers, I'm in debt, recently just went through a brutal break up, and I have been struggling with complex trauma spreads throughout my life. From combat ptsd to childhood.
Life beat me down, and it's kept me in its dark embrace for years - but I learned to embrace the pain, and learn that all of that pain is a lesson, it breeds growth from the heart, its where true resolve is born.
In the last few months I've began to attend therapy, set a financial plan that I've stuck to, quit smoking, exercise regularly, found a job I'm actually happy with, and have finally for the first time started to find me.
Im far from reaching my dreams, but every day I get closer my life only gets better - it's much more fun playing the main character in life, instead of an npc.

Hello I'm 29 30 feb11 2019 from the hood in Detroit I had noticed I was at the bottom the very bottom I'm lost and trying to pick the pieces of my life into any picture but I Kno after being lost and being at the bottom there's gotta be a light a way out and I'm trying to stay positive that's what I tell myself everyday but that's not how I feel I'm at the point of no return what do I do
Keep going man, always looking forward, doesnt matter how hard it is, my father was diagnosed with brain cancer in 2015 when i was only 11, i saw my mother get beaten in front of me, saw my brother fithing with a broken leg in front of me and i couldnt move a muscle, and i had my fathers head in my hands while he was losing alot of blood due to one of his falls of the stairs, but i keep looking forward, its still hard to me because i know that my father has max 1 year of life and has many disabilities, but it doesnt matter, i will achieve everything that i want to make my family proud, whathever it takes, so never give up, good luck with your journey, i hope you succeed.

We need to motivate each other and help each other. Don't do something cause your friends are doing it. Do it because YOU want to do it.
