@@rojofish504 I didn't say he wasn't a very good young QB.. But he did not play well at all in the SB! U take away that BS 75 yard TD to Tee Higgins away (bc everyone knows it shouldn't have counted) Burrow had like what then 150 yards and 0 TD...
He missed alot of throws and made a couple other off target throws that Chase bailed him out on!
Again he is a very good and promising young QB, but IMO some of the over the top hype on him, has gotten a tad bit out of control!
Keep in mind, defensive coordinators and defenders had no real NFL tape on him last year.. You can be sure, he is going to get alot of attention and tape study done on him coming into this year!
I'm just saying, this see what it looks like this year, before people start saying he is the best QB in the NFL (And some have said that).. Or that he is the next Brady...
Also not all of it was on his O-Line, bc Burrow does have a habit of sometimes holding the ball too long, trying to force the ball downfield for the big play..
Just slow it down a little bit lol..
IDT the Bengals are getting back to the SB this year, and who knows, they may never get back!
He is a Top 10 QB right now IMO, but i have a hard time at this point, putting him much higher than 9 or 10 🤷🏻♂️

I watched over the weekend for the first time since before the Super Bowl. I have a full HD version that includes the Super Bowl and a couple of other plays (TEN interception). But I can’t update this. I’d have to start over from scratch with watches, comments etc.

Evan McPherson was the best draft pick for the Bengals last season
He had so many game winning kicks and he didn't miss a single kick in the playoffs

He's one of the most clutch kickers in the league

Whether they're the goat Vinateri, or anyone else. Usually the best kicker one year isn't long for an awful season, then they get cut. Go to another team, good again. Except for Tucker, who doesn't do that, and Crosby, who survives in Green Bay even after bad years)

To come back that many times against extremely good teams, with the Bengals o-line and the other team knowing we have to throw/ drop back is honestly amazing and That is what makes Joe Burrow SPECIAL no one else could do what he did last year consistently except him.

First ever bengals game I was at was at the Raiders playoffs game. By far the most energetic and stomach wrenching environment ever but I love it!

They were only 3 points shy of beating the Rams and the Packers are terrible in the playoffs. The Bucs also lost a lot of key pieces and are just barely Super Bowl contenders. The Chargers are a super team on paper but what have they proven yet? Nothing. 9-8, playoff miss. I’ll give you the Bills, Rams (not by a whole lot) and maybe MAYBE the Bucs but everything else is at most a question mark or an easy Bengals win.

It's crazy watching these highlights and seeing how many explosives plays the Bengals had this year compared to 22-23 thus far. Teams really adjusted with that cover of two soft zone defenses but a big difference I notice is that the Bengals have adjusted and become a much more patient team. They may not get as many explosives as before but they're still playing very efficient football and scoring just as many points.
And thats gonna be a Bengal touchdown... all season long baby 2022 🎯

I really hope they pay Burrow, and they keep winning. Otherwise, this will be a repeat of the last 20 years. Getting off the playoff schneid was huge...and being 1 min from a Super Bown win is great and heartbreaking, but I just wonder if we did enough to make this team have a culture change. We got very lucky in all three playoff games. Sometimes you need a lot of luck, but you also have to remain tough.

Hayden which is a proven pro needs to get with Joe and watch when, where and why every catch went to the tight end last year. After I watched every touchdown scored 2021 and it seemed like Chase, Boyd, Higgins and tight end knew their routes and knew to adjust and exactly where to go if Joe scrambled. Red Zone and third down execution was what made the difference. I hope Joe Mixon gets 1500 with good run blocking upfront. After watching the TD video it seemed like JM ran through the left side of the line for scores. With the new line depending on the defense he should have a choice. And its nice to know you have MM like Jim Breech to get another three points if required.

Burrow, despite the sacks, almost single-handedly got the Bengals to the SB after a near career ending injury. He will be the GOAT in 15 years, he is already the best leader, has the best throw, quickest release and genius mind. Mahomes, Watson, Herbert, Jackson are ok, but nowhere near the level of Burrow. Allen is a hack.

I think we have all the tools to do so however the afc in general has a lot of contenders so it may be difficult but in the end iron sharpens iron so the superbowl may not be as diffcult as the journey to the bowl. I hope we hire a new play caller in the future so we can minimize whats on zachs taylors plate however new play callers are usually prone growing pains the first several games.
