This 1963 Chevrolet Corvette split-window coupe is powered by a 6.2-liter LS3 paired with a Tremec five-speed manual transmission, and it has a replacement frame with C4 Corvette suspension components that was installed by Billy Dawson’s Corvette Correction. The car is refinished in Lexus Silver and reupholstered in red, and the build was completed in 2021. Additional equipment includes EVOD Industries 18″ three-piece wheels, electric-assisted four-wheel disc brakes, central quad-exit exhaust, power steering, Dakota Digital instrumentation, Vintage Air climate control, power windows, a vintage-style Bluetooth-capable stereo, and concealed headlights. This C2 split-window coupe is said to have spent time on the West Coast before it was acquired by the selling dealer in 2021, and it is now offered with a spare MagnaFlow muffler, a partial can of paint, parts documentation, and a clean South Carolina title.
The fiberglass body was refinished in Lexus Silver, and exterior features include flip-up headlamps, fender vents, quad tail lamps, tinted glass, electric wipers, an electric hood actuator, and quad exhaust tips that exit underneath the center of the car.
EVOD Industries 18″ three-piece wheels wear spinner-style hubcaps and are mounted with 245/40/18 front and 255/45/18 rear Michelin Pilot Sport A/S3 tires. The suspension utilizes C4 Corvette components. The car is equipped with power steering, and braking is handled by four-wheel disc brakes with drilled and slotted rotors and an electric booster.
The cabin was reupholstered in red and features a custom rear cargo area, bucket seats with headrests, a vintage-look AM/FM stereo with Bluetooth capability, power windows, Vintage Air climate control, an analog clock, lap belts, and cupholders.
The three-spoke steering wheel is mounted to an Ididit tilt steering column, and it frames Dakota Digital instrumentation. The digital odometer shows 1,200 miles since the build was completed. Total mileage is unknown.
The 6.2-liter LS3 is equipped with an ATI Super Damper harmonic balancer, a Vintage Air pulley system, a Mechman alternator, a polished intake tube, and a Be Cool radiator with an electric fan. A Highway 22 universal wiring system was installed.
The replacement frame is finished in red. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Tremec five-speed manual transmission. A McLeod clutch assembly is fitted along with an aftermarket exhaust system with electric cutouts.
