This dip will be the last chance for owning the stock is my prediction. Energy + Services (FSD solved with v12.3) will move the stock north soon……..
I think the stock is lower 3 years from now than it is today.
The results are not aligned with the PE ratio and the stock can’t ride on hype forever. I’ve seen 12.3 and it has a long way to go. I don’t believe it has the necessary hardware to drive as safely as a human driver. The cameras don’t have the same field of view or depth perception as human sight. The inching behavior is almost certainly the result of this hardware limitation.
@@singed8853 I say v12.4 will be a game changer and the version taking FSD out of beta is not far, in 2024 is my prediction. Let’s see……cool stuff!!!!
I don't think it's -SOLVED- man. I think it's significantly better. But there's gonna be some edge cases that are still not possible to get through
@@adammm46473 As a Neural Network with Fuzzy logic Development Engineer I can tell you it is solved!!! Some additional training with video/data that are already available in order to be x100 better. Solving FSD is actually solving AGI/robotics. Most useful robot is the one that “fully self drives” and from those, the car is the hardest one because of the speed it moves as well as the safety/regulatory standards.
FSD is solved, sink it in!!

I buy your analysis. I just don't buy analysts estimates. Who are these analysts anyways. They get paid from institutions to make a report that serves institutions purpose: to rip off retail investors. Self driving is a hype. It may take upto 10 years. But humans always have developed new technologies. This time is not different, so I buy the idea of self driving coming true one day!
I would suggest you search for the video, "FSDBeta v12.3 - First Impressions - What a drive!" Chuck is a Tesla customer, end user, who has not been paid a dime (except from RUclips for those who watch his videos) and has been tracking FSD progress for several years now.
Does Tesla other projects enter into the equation? IE Power wall, SpaceX, nation wide charging system, etc

Parkev, everything up until the last minute or so seemed logical. Suddenly, you said last year's forecast, then followed with this year's forecast, both out of the blue, and with no apparent logic. Eg, you suddenly seemed to jump to better than the best case scenario eps x PE in your tables. Hence, the end seemed a bit odd. Still, I enjoyed your overall logic, thanks 👍🙂

Parkev has done you a disservice. Here is my post above after watching this video. I would suggest you do some deeper research into Tesla. Happy investing! _____ Parkev, your analysis is woefully incomplete and leaves viewers who come here to hear your analysis completely ignorant on Tesla as a company. You could have extended this video by 1 minute to explain WHY Tesla has "elevated valuation." If Tony Seba is right, GM will be dead by 2035 so comparing Tesla with GM is like comparing IBM with Nvidia. You could have said something like, ----- "I don't believe it, but many say Tesla is not just a car company but is an AI company and has many big opportunities in front of them. That's why for many it is an option play on future potential. (1) Growing energy business with signed contracts for energy storage that are presently producing growing billions to the bottom line. (2) Full Self Driving (FSD 12.3 presently) which is now being demonstrated by many retail end users to be very human like and is often driving people in busy cities to their destination and parking them without any human intervention along the way. [have you not been staying educated in this? I am surprised you claim to be an analyst. How did you get Motley Fool's sponsorship?]. (3) Optimus humanoid bots that are learning simply by using cameras for eyes just like the car is learning to drive by itself with cameras for eyes. (4) Semis soon coming. (5) Ramping battery production. (5) Potential licensing of FSD. (6) etc." ----- Why did you not at least mention these issues for the long term investor, which is what Motley Fool taught me years ago? For the Trader, sure, we will probably see $150 from here. Maybe even $100 but I seriously doubt it unless Russia starts shooting off nukes, or China invades Taiwan. Bottom line is, it is a gamble for the trader because of how volatile Tesla is. But for the patient Motley Fool investor, it would be wise to start accumulating now before we see the rapid rise to the next level like we saw in 2013 & 2019 with Tesla.
I think the Cybertruck design is great but I have a fear that there could be many awful accidents with the angles at the front looking so sharp and with no bumpers.
As an anecdote, there is someone with a cybertruck at a construction site nearby who can never find parking. It’s always out in the middle of the street with hazard lights on. The size is incompatible with existing parking infrastructure it seems.

Unless Elon has a major move (merges with Rivian, cuts a deal for national charging grid, spits out model 2s, or produces a flying car, battery revolution), this is a meme headed toward DWAC camp. I own the car: quality issues, difficult for urbanites to find charging stations, crappy cold weather battery life, inability to find repair shops, dangerous self driving etc. put on 30k miles a year: issues with doors squeaking, broken drive unit, seized brakes, failed heater, failed stereo, failed tail-light... all of these are expensive repairs unless you are under warranty. In teslas defense: exceptional performance, revolutionary approach, major energy and time savings - mostly dealing with catastrophic repairs vs nuisance repairs. I'm sure like all meme's there is money to be made in the yoyo.

With energy storage, Dogo, robotics, 4680 production, Semis I wouldn’t sleep on or consider Tesla weak this has a lot to do with politics if the host wants to admit that or not it’s a fact
Let's be honest here. Who actually believed EV's would take off in 2024? Without a car for under 30k this will never happen. They promised and promised and did not deliver!

This guy is looking at gaap eps (google finance may be) got it all wrong.. current PE is 60+. Market is priced for 2.75 eps. Yes, it will go down to 120 may be.
Studies show that analyst get their estimates/calls 46% of the time. Which means if I toss a coin, I have a better chance of being right compared to the analyst.

$160 has priced in 2.75 eps already. It did not include any positive news in the whole 2024 year.

39 PE is trailing not forward! I feel tesla is going to go into the red next quarter! Wouldn’t touch it for any price! Teslas FSD is way behind and is the great lie to buy a tesla! NHTSA says to get level 3 you car will need lidar and dumbo dropped lidar years ago to save money! I smell lawsuits!

it’s just a car company, and all the big caps are coming out with Bots and Mercedes is close to Level 4 with autonomous driving. Elon is pulling the wool over your head, Vision only will not be approved by the FED, it has too many problems, “I see Dead People” with FSD as autonomous driving. Elon’s Robo taxis is a “Wet Dream”.
