I think during 2008 ULTA weathered the Great Recession which I’m trying to understand as it is a premium, often luxury extra type purchase. If folks could mentioned some MOATS that would be great! Thanks

Can you do an analysis on Kering? It trades at a lower valuation compared to peers such as LVMH and Hermes. The valuation could be attractive if they manage to strenghten their main brand, Gucci.

2 months ago you did a video on Estee Lauder, and someone in the comments asked about Ulta, to which you replied "It's been fully priced in for some time now".
2 months ago, the price of Ulta was literally the same price it is today, but between then and now it dipped as low as $368.
What changed? Because it sure as hell wasn't the fundamentals, since there's been no earnings report between then and now.

I'm a holder of BABA. it's too hard to analyze with a DCF. There's too much govt & political intervention and internal change going on there to predict growth with any degree of certainty - in saying that they are still growing.
They key metric for BABA is that currently 30% of the market cap is cash and short term investments.
Then you have to make your own decision about the politics surrounding the company and how/if you will get a return on that cash holding.

I just released a video doing an analysis and dfcf valuation of ULTA where I had $700/sh at a 20% margin of safety for a 10% return! It shot up in price A LOT just in the last few days 😵💫
Incredible company. Overpriced though. At the end of the day it is a retailer and it requires a very low pe to be a bargain.
ELF has a vastly greater Future Revenues !

Why is your 2024 fcf # declining by 21%...not sure im following rationale there
I think he made some corrections to negate the false effect of debt on fcfe/share, which he believe is not a real debt.
Not sure i follow he had fcf share going down in 2024 by 21%...they have no debt other than leases treated as debt so not sure i follow...fcf even adjusted for owner comp is around 22...and he has that going down 21% for no reason so i think that impacts his valuation

ELF has more growth but the r/r is better with ULTA. 40% of my port is in these 2 so I love both.
