From hummingbird experts: do not buy hummingbird mix at store. Make your own 1/4 pure cane sugar to 1cup water (simmer to melt sugar, no need to boil) let cool completely and they do not need or want red dye in it. I make eight cups at time.. It stores in frig for two weeks (it never makes it that long in middle of their season.) Must wash and refill daily when activates are high 💛♥👨👩♥💛
Just made mine this a.m. 1/4 sugar to a cup of water, stir and pour in. I have the little feeder that sticks to your window. She came within 2 minutes of fresh food and sat happily to drink. Change it every 5 days.

Jake, Jason & Brook got their hands on a huge scratching tree looking contraption (I dunno, maybe a year ago for their cow moody), you have to drill down into the ground to install it!! And is supposedly indestructible... They have a video on their RUclips channel of them installing it and moody's reaction to it.. Just thought maybe if you contact them, the company might be interested in sending you one to put to the test by, what must be one of the biggest cow's in the world lol.. Just a thought 👍.. Glad to see you guys have a hummie feeder. However, the red dye in bought nectar is not particularly healthy for them. You can make ur own; 1 part sugar to 3 parts water. Bring water to temp to melt sugar. Can be stored in fridge for a week.

First of all people need to mind their own business. As many out building that are on the Morrow compound I’m fairly certain you could find somewhere to store a few bags of feed. So proud of all you've accomplished. 🙂 Lyssa has been a great addition to Morrow Hill (and Moose) . I've never understood why anyone would be nasty to all the RUclips farms I watch. They all have the same dilemma. Everyone has a unique way of handling their farms and that's what intrigues me to watch so many. I can't fathom telling any one of them what they absolutely must do. That was very nice of your Dad to give you the old barn. I’m so proud of what you have accomplished so far. Yes you have a ways to go, but you are diligently taking care of your business.
