Great work Peter and your Papa looks so pleased with the gift. Much respect for putting all the effort in over your holiday so his retirement years begin with good sound and a luxurious ride! All the best mate! See you soon...
Peter this was a awesome install and gift for this gentleman after seeing this no box woofer gives me a idea for my jeep cherokee build a plexiglass wall someday:-) :-) again really nice sounding system :-)
Very impressive, I’ve been a fan of Zapco since the 80s in California, if you had a zap you had the shit!! Now creating a new car audio system I noticed that zap has a new DSP rather expensive contemplating on purchasing it
yet again, no words needed here, just awesome peter, what are the tweets playing down to ? lol really into your work, i think you know this, lol how cool to see an older fella with such a system , just awesome, and well done to him for saying goodbye to working for a living !
Chris We has such a great time together in the last few weeks! These are the moments that it’s worth living for! As for the system: i don’t remember exactly, they are crossed around 13-14kHz 12dB/oct or so, but I didn’t really stress too much about it! It just sounds fine and he loves it! 👌🤘😃
i made kick panels. i wasnt happy with he way the sound would dampin when you move your legs. depending how you sit effected the sound to much. i made a sealed speaker pod in my door. that sounded amazing. was able to really push he door speakers hard and clean.
@@pssound9749 I'll watch it again, I may have forgotten. I watched even video so far and been a subscriber since your 1st video. I absolutely loved the information you privides in all your videos. I'll rewatch it. Thanks a bunch.
Naresh R These pillars were in mine before and they could keep up with 2x18”s in the back, so i’d say they can be very loud! 😃 ruclips.net/video/_WoMtXEppPY/видео.html
myboy051 It’s my go to DSP now if 8chs are enough! Best value on market as it comes with controller (simple, but it does everything and more reliable than some others), plus u have the built in BT too, which sounds great if the music you play is at least CD quality. Also, EQ is very accurate, fully parametric, so if you know what you’re doing, you can can awesome results! 👌
Random question. I had A pillars made and my mids are pointed at the dash. The angle got messed up a bit. If that a major issue? If so, ones that that are pointed away from the dash. Would they be a lot better
Pssound oh yes there are!! A good friend of mine that I grew up in church with has owned a shop in Lexington Kentucky since the late 80’s. Autosound is the name of the shop. I just love your attention to detail. I can do everything but A-Pillar pods. Although I have to go a lot slower than I did 25 years ago.
Wow. Such an amazing journey. I’ve watched all of the videos for the accord! What songs and what artists would you recommend to test and adjust the dsp settings? I like the song you used in the video it starts at 3:50. Which song and artist is that?
I’ve checked it, but i have no idea, it was long time ago and i can not recognise it. There are few Tidal Demo Playlist video on the channel, worth checking those.
2:44 it is a japanese car so the door is shit 🤣🤣🤣💪🏼 i own only japanese cars and I understand you, them aren't feeling so solid. I hope you do project like this on a civic fk7
awesome channel,,, just sub'd recently. Quick question: which SQ sub-woofer would you recommend (money being no issue)? The best of the best sub for SQ... on 10" size. Two of them in a Panamera. Thanks!
exactly the same issue I have with my IB24 sub...If I xover at 70/80 its loud as hell above 70 so I have to roll off @50hz 12db to get the upper bass under control .... but WOW I LOVE metal tunes with lots of kick drums so I have more than one memory setting for sub xover so I can just kill it when the metal or techno tunes come on !!! Question is it necessary to have the tweeter closer than the mid or is that just preference and distance of tweeter/mids works out in time alignment ?
ike It would be awesome to test multiple different drivers within same conditions, but i had zero chance for that in this car, so hard to say an objective opinion. The Adire is a good alternative for sure, does a good job! 👌

That's awesome ! good for both of you guys!!!! your not such a bad guy after all :) LoL! Kidding as always.... Keep up the good work !
I'm doing the exact build like this one pete....except with a helix mk2 DSP and 18" T3 T2000 sub in the boot
I love this setup. In your opinion, those 2" mids and tweeter setup, can they get loud? or pretty loud? I know (Loud) is subjective.
Budhram Ramlakhan Have you seen any of the videos of my personal blue Honda Accord?

Mids can perform and play upto 3-4kHz even off-axis, but tweefers have go be more on-axis to get top-end.
Wish this was my car
