  • One of the emptiest corners of Africa, home to just 2 million people but a huge network of gravel roads & singletrack. We sent Josh & Helen to go explore with the excellent team at NatureFriend Safaris on a multi stage ride from Windhoek to the sand dunes at Sossusvlei, over to the coast in Swakopmund and north to see the wildlife in Etosha National Park.

I'm from Southern Africa, and this trip is about as special as I can imagine. Wonderful video.

Wow! Beautifully filmed and what an experience. I had the pleasure of visiting Namibia a few years ago on business, and regretted not finding time to explore, but our time in Windhoek, Luderitz and Walvis Bay was memorable. I would love to revisit and a Glorious Gravel experience would be perfect.

Ahhhh this looks such a wonderful adventure! Namibia is also on my list to visit. Now I’m thinking….could I really do it as a bike tour?! Could I do it physically? It does look “Glorious”! Thanks for the video.

I'd be a little concerned about rhino or big cat attacks
