  • Learn exactly how to improve your lead guitar phrasing. In fact, I use the tips & strategies in this video to train students to become pro-level players.
Here's a quick overview of what's in the video:
You already know that becoming a better guitar player is determined not only by “what you play” but “how you play”.
Think of “what you play” as the words you use when you speak. Now think of “how you play” as the tone of voice, body language and meaning of the words you speak.
Phrasing is HOW you play something. And great guitar phrasing is about getting the “HOW” part right.
In this guitar phrasing lesson video, I show you how to develop and improve better phrasing on the guitar so that when you play something, you know how to make it sound better.
Have you ever heard someone play fast, but the notes just don’t sound that good? Sure you have. We all have. What’s missing? Killer phrasing!
Next, I show you how to take a very simple guitar lick and apply better phrasing in various ways so that you see how you can improve any lick by applying the same simple ideas.
I’ll explain each idea for you, then I’ll demonstrate it for you so you can see and hear how it works. And of course, I include all the guitar tab for you.
The very best way to improve your lead guitar playing is by applying the sort of phrasing tips you will learn in this video on phrasing guitar lesson.

Tom's knowledge and of course skill is un-matched! I took lessons from him for a relative brief amount of time and i can honestly say that, if you give it time and do what he actually instructs you to, you will see drastic differences in your playing! I recommend any1 who is actually serious about his/her playing to try it out! Thanks for the lessons Tom, much appreciated!

Using octaves is so important in my opinion, or balancing the picking of high and low notes, so the listener is not bored with too many high or low notes, a balanced soundscape so to speak 🤔

This is great stuff. I love it.
May i ask- how would you put together a practice schedule for a person who is busy, and still wanting to achieve a desired goal?
