Matt Williams is the most one eyed Irishman ever hahaha. ROG is good. Why is there no analysis of Hadleigh Parkes shoulder to Manu's head?

The issue is you have to look at all clear outs, the number of times you have had similar situations to Manu in all professional matches. The debate is red or yellow for Manu. The biggest issue the two NZ referees were not discussing with their linesman. Wayne Barnes, had to draw the attention of the referee to the France Tip tackle, the similar Wales tip tackle on Curry was ignored, inconsistencies. The problem is inconsistency with the referees between them and in some cases during the match and most have forgotten were the off side line is. They need to get a grip to ensure better consistency.

Ok, the game has changed from when I started in 60’s. Joe is not that old, but he comes from a different time with different attitudes. Joe is renowned for his sense of humour. Now, having said that, there is a clear rule. That conduct has been outlawed. IF he actually perpetrated the full act with malice then sanction severely. BUT, whether malicious or “playful” the matter should have been dealt with at the time by the match officials, of which there are plenty with sophisticated technology to back them up. The match referee was poor, in various respects. This failure lies at his door. Retrospective penalisation must weigh the various factors carefully and honestly. The decision must not be pious, mealy mouthed and politically correct just for the sake of appearances. AWJ must be commended for his conduct throughout. I’m English but his response was 100% and the real example to be drawn from this.
