You just pull the silver ball away from your wrist. I am right-handed, so wear the bracelet on my left hand - then my right hand can take it off. Maybe practice when it's not on your wrist?

You should be able to move the metal bead along the chain to make it smaller - I would take it back to the shop if that's not working.
