I remember camping out on Sept. 8 1982 at my local record store for the release of Rush "Signals" on the 9th and tickets for Rush coming to Denver were going on sale as well for the "Signals" Tour. The memories, I saw Rush the very first time when I was in 10th grade that was on the "A Farewell to Kings" Tour that was May of 1978 they played at Denver, Auditorium and Uriah Heep opened.
as a drummer obsessed with Peart I sadly overlooked just how incredible Geddy's bass parts where. Thanks for posting this! what a great cover you performed here.
Thanks Tim. As a non musician, these videos you put out help me to hear how talented Geddy really is. So, what's that say about you? Awesome man, thanks again!
My brother turned me on to 2112 back in the 80s he is also a phenomenal drummer…for some reason does not like the Signals album..I bet if he seen you in this vid he might change his mind, as he always fed off a great Bass player 🤘
Just learned this myself a couple weeks ago. The issue I had with the quick main riff was resolved for me when I broke it into two parts, go up, pause and almost lift off, then decend. This is one if Geddys songs that has a symmetry to it that blows my mind. Great job Tim.
Another exceptional recreation of some of Geddy’s finest work!! Tim you are simply amazing! I had an ear to ear grin from the first note to the last!! Thanks for the quality content!
Just fricking killer..!!! I’ve seen you guys twice now when you’ve been near Chicago…. I’ve had the best time at your shows just amazing…hope you pass through again I’ll be there for sure..hope your well and have a great day…
Tim you are one of the best bass players I have ever seen. I would like to ask you a question. If you could only use one bass to play for the rest of your life. Which bass would you choose? Fender jazz bass, Rickenbacker or other bass?
Love your sixteenth-note faces and the constant GBH assault on those poor strings! A cheap ultrasonic jewellery cleaner should get your skin fragments out of those lovely round-wound strings!
Brilliant. For me, The Analog Kid has always been one of Geddy's greatest triumphs, skills beyond comparison. Thank you for demonstrating this.
I remember some people were disappointed in Signals as a follow up to Moving Pictures, but I wasn't. I've always loved that album. Great job.
couldn't agree more 🙂
Those people are uncultured. I regard both of those albums in the same light. Phenomenal through and through
I have been a Rush fan since their first album when it was their only album. I like all of their albums.
I was, but that album just kept sounding better and better as time went on. Took me about a year to realize how great it is.
Nailed it dude! 🤘🤘
Amazing work, I have learned to play several Rush songs thanks you your videos. Thanks for the inspiration!
My pleasure!!
@@TimStaracehey Tim. What year is your white 4001? Is it a refin? Most of them aren't that white anymore. Looks great.
great job. i'd argue this is THE most underrated guitar solo by lerxst. also, the taurus pedal samples are almost 100% plagiarized from Ultravox.
Absolutely Amazing Tim, you're the best bassist out there of all Rush Tribute Bands!
Such a great era of Rush. Amazing bass/keys playing!!

All three of them were geniuses. Alex doesn't get as much love as the other two but he is the GOAT as far as I am concerned!
I've loved Rush for 4 decades. Thanks for this! You are seriously skilled!
like the music of the spheres,,,sick bass lines, keep rockin man,,,🤘🤘🤘
Sensational!!
I concur!!!
My word, bass tone is absolutely incredible, sansamp never disappoints.
The tones are incredible 🤘
The SansAmp would be better if it had a compressor.
Superb Tim. Bravo!!!!
Thanks Tim.

What a beast!
Excellent!
Your sound is so similar to Geddy’s sound…that you have to made a video showing your gear and configurations. Thanks.
Awesome!
I'm speechless!! Another killer performance 🤘!!

Awesomeness!!!
Hell yes!
The way you can snatch those strings like that without rattling is messed-up good. 😅
You rock, brother.
Nailed it!
You’re my favorite… always spot on.

Super clean playing, love the tone as well. I recently learned this song, it's so fun to play!
🔥 Gotta say, your talent & dedication is exciting & inspiring to watch. Bravo❗️

Awesome job as always, Tim 😀👍
Nice
Geddy wants his fingers back!
UGH :::::Throws my bass in the fireplace:::::
You ARE Geddy Lee.
Always an incredible inspiration... And thanks for the Detroit love with the shirt... #timstaraceismyspiritanimal
Was Geddy Lee cloned as you the bass player?
Awesome work here Tim, your are a beast! I'm sure those are Rotosound swing 66 strings, but what gauge?
Perfect! You’ve got Geddy’s feel
Are you running into any cab sims? Any post processing? Or just the di into ged 2112?
The DI-2112 is going direct into Reaper. I use no post processing or cab sims.
Fuckin A dude!

I've tried playing the Geddy Lee signature before, the ones made in Mexico always played like crap.
The ones made in Japan are better.
Does Anthrax know these guys stole Scott Ian?
Absolutely killer!!!
