I only discovered Luar na Lubre on a trip to Galicia from my native Ireland last week. I come from the west of Ireland, very similar in music to that of Galicia and was more than pleasantly surprised to find this group and their music.

Pero, al haber alcanzado las distancia convenida, los Druidas de los Dé Dannan, invocaron una mágica tormenta para mantenerlos a raya y que no pudieran desembarcar de nuevo. Amergin realizó entonces la "Invocación de Irlanda" para derrotar la magia de los Dé Dannan y poder llegar a tierra con bien. Después de una feroz batalla, donde los Reyes Irlandeses fueron muertos en combates cuerpo a cuerpo con tres de los hijos de Mil, Eber Finn, Éremón y el mismísimo Amergin, los Milesios triunfaron. Amergin dividió la tierra entre sus dos hermanos, Eber tomando el sur y Éremón el norte. Los Tuatha Dé Dannan, se retiraron al Otro Mundo, volviéndose parte de la gente de los Áes Shíde (Hadas). Los Poemas de Amergin tienen similitudes con los del druida Taliesin, dentro de la mitología de Gales.

En lo que a mi respecta, Portugal,es un pueblo hermano ,de hecho el mayor hermano que tenemos en España. No existe otra tierra tan similar,ni étnicamente,ni en paisajes, religión, idioma...(es que el portugués se comprende sin ni siquiera haberlo estudiado)...En resumen, que no deberíamos ser dos pueblos,si no uno sólo (y ninguno x encima del otro!).
