Whether this year has brought you smiles or tears, you've experienced another year full of memories and that's priceless 🤍 My highlight this year was truly this trip to Japan. It's been years since Pat and I travelled with just the two of us. Even though we spend so much time together everyday, being able to explore a totally new environment with one another was indescribably special ☺️ Edit: The giveaway has closed. Congrats Naomi for being the giveaway winner!
Nicki, Australia. The highlight of the year was I finished my PhD in STEM. I am originally from Burma but lived in South Korea and South Africa before settling down in Australia about 5 years ago. And despite various life challenges such as losing my Mother at 19 when I was already living abroad, I managed to get myself a PhD this year. My late mother was on her track to completing her PhD but she quit as she gave birth to my older sister so this year, I managed to fulfil her dream and mine
Nádia, Finland. This year I’m finally making peace with living abroad, having to deal with actual winter season and darkness during many months, and dealing with anxiety and panic attacks. I moved here from Brazil right before the pandemic, and alone. Being away from family, friends in such a dreadful and stressful moment was an incredible challenge. I’ve been learning a lot, found a family here - a dog, a partner, friends - and I’ve been healing from inside out. Thank you so much for your videos, Hills, it’s one of the channels I go to when I deal with anxiety and panic attacks. You’re an inspiration. A wonderful holiday season for you and your family ❤️
I'm Alice from France, and my highlight from this year is obviously my grandma's 100th birthday. She lives on the Réunion's island (12 hours flight from Paris), and her birthday was the perfect occasion to have a big family reunion and holiday, it was beautiful and emotional. I feel lucky for these memories. Have a nice day Hilary !
Aurélie, France. The highlight of my year was when I bring my daughter to a fantasy convention for the first time and saw her eyes overflow of joy and wonder for two days non stop.
Grapes, The Netherlands. My highlight of the year 2023 was when we were able to buy a house after years of trying. When I was looking for inspiration on how to style/decorate my home, I came across your channel. That’s how I discover your beautiful channel. I’m inspired how you can make things beautiful through DIY-ing.
I am Anka form Germany and my highlight this year was my spring Japan trip with my boyfriend. It was my second trip to Japan and it made me so so happy to show my boyfriend some of the places I loved the first time around and to discover new ones together - also all the delicious food was just the best and seeing the full cherry blossom season was pure magic!
Margarida, from Portugal. One highlight this year was signing up for an half marathon, training for it and racing in another country. It was super fun and encouraged me to dream big and set objectives. It also remembered me that I can do whatever I put enough effort into. :)
Hi, Eva from Sweden here ❤️ One of my highlights of the year was when both my daughters and their familys (kids and all) came to the rescue to help me ”put the garden to sleep for the winter” when my husband has had an accident and couldn’t do any garden work. I made a chili for us all to eat and there was apple picking and lots of love and fun!
Luisa, Brazil. The highlight of my year was being able to travel abroad with my family for the first time. I had already done that, but it was my parents’ and sister’s first time. We went to Argentina and had a great time, but the sweetest memory is watching my parents and my sister going to another country and experiencing another culture, their bright eyes and happiness made my heart very warm, and I didn’t know that we could do that one day 🧡
I’m Marie, from Germany! My highlight this year has been finding my love for hiking! I grew up in the alps and as a child I never liked going outside much, never mind hiking up a mountain… But now that I’ve moved away from home, I’ve been missing nature so much that I challenged myself to go hiking at least once each week. And I’ve been loving it! Nothing beats the view you have after hiking up a hill/ mountain! Getting back in touch with nature has been my highlight this year and I definitely wanna continue it going into the new year 😊⛰️
Tamara, Germany. My Highlight was our moving from a appartment we lived in for 6 years to a cute rental house with a small garden, trees and friendly neighbors. Here it´s quiet and relaxed and lots of nature surrounded us. We see and hear the birds and this morning we had the first snow (now it´s melted but I hope it will be back soon :) Thank you for the nice and calming videos you made. It is always a pleasure to watch them. Mostly with Tea and a cookie ;) Wish you (and Pat) all the best :)
Ana here from Romania! This year was a bit of a rollercoaster but one of the major highlights must be going with my friends to a mountain cabin for a vacation :D There's something so cozy and magical about getting all bundled up in a blanket with a hot cocoa in hand while it's chilly outside
That was a delightful haul. Couldn’t join the giveaway but I’m glad to live vicariously through these vids! For the Snoopy coasters, you can try laminating them so that you can actually use them for their purpose! 😊
Hi! I'm Tamara from Slovenia and one of the most important highlight that warms my heart this year is temporarily sharing our small home with a gorgeous galgo rescue (spanish greyhound) that was looking for a forever home and learning so much about their super sad living conditions ... I cannot wait to adopt a pair once we find a rental that allows pets! 💛 Also your trip to Japan inspired us to want to travel there even more!
Aye, when you said you collect snoopy figures from Happy Meal, that instantly reminded me of all the snoopy figures I used to have back when I was little! When I was 1 or 2 years old, my grandmama from Hong Kong always came to the mainland to visit me with goodies, and that included happy meal figures! I kept them until I immigrated to Canada and those figures were given to other relative's kids as toys. Back in the day, Happy meal figures were big and very high quality. I still remember they were at least an adult palm size big compares to the teeny tiny ones I see nowadays in NA. Very happy to be your subscriber, it is nostalgic to listen same childhood memories! :D Wish your days are filled with love, happiness and healthiness! Love From Canada!
Jen, US, what a wonderful comments section to read through! Congratulations to everyone for their accomplishments! My highlight would be hosting more people/events in our home. It’s a bit uncomfortable for me but I’m enjoying pushing beyond my comfort zone.
Laura, Spain. My highlight of the year was a wonderful trip to Japan that my partner and I took after so many years of not being able to afford it. It was our first travel overseas after 11 years together, so it was very special, and this video (and the ones you posted before about Japan) reminded me of our trip. We fell in love with the country -and also bought so many amazing things! Congratulations on your channel, your videos are the ones I choose to relax after long days.
Pati from Spain. My highlight this year was my first visit to Scotland for my big anniversary (10 years married, 25 years together). Loved the country and the people. And finally we have some time to spend together alone since the kids were born! Thank you for sharing this wonderful trip to Japan with us. Maybe that could be my next anniversary trip...
I'm Lara, living in the Netherlands (but from Germany). My highlight overall is not one specific occasion, but that I have learned so much about myself and my mental health problems this year and have greatly improved how I am feeling and getting better. I can honestly say, that I am the happiest and healthiest I have ever been and I do feel proud of that! PS. I really enjoy your style of videos. I come to your channel when I want a calming video!

I'm Vicky from USA. We never usually do outdoor holiday decorating, but the highlight this year is actually putting up the Christmas lights and an inflatable Ron Weasley outside 😂 it was such a joy to see my little boy's face light up when everything was turned on at night!
Lisette, Netherlands. The highlight of my year is that I finally finished studying to become a primary school teacher! It was quite a struggle to get there, and I also almost quit in my third year 😅But now I'm working full time at a school with an amazing team. Most days are great fun and I love my class full of 4 to 6 year olds, but some days they do get on my nerves 😜 That's also part of the job tho 😁
Raquel, Portugal. My highlight this year was a big loss 👼 that we managed to turn into a big change in our family 🫶 i’m so proud for how much we have grown together ❤ thank you for the peacefull moments i had here in your channel
Just stopping by to let you know that I absolutely love your videos so much!! They give me great ideas and fill me with peace while watching them. This year's highlight was my family trip to Canada after several years of not being able to have a holiday together. Greetings from Mexico!!
I´m Pien from the Netherlands, so we're neighbours actually. My highligh from this year is finding peace in myself and being thankful for what and who I have in my life. Sometimes it's the small things that count and it feels so precious to realize that. Thank you so much for making these relaxing and calm video's, you inspire me a lot. Love x
Diana, Ireland. My highlight is a DIY project inspired by your channel! I put up some faux panelling in my parents sitting room recently. It's not perfect but happy with the results for my first time using a mitre saw! The room is still a work in progress but I can't help but feel proud every time I sit down to unwind after a long day! I am happy I can help give my mom a space she can be proud of!
My name is Julie, and I'm currently living in Munich, Germany. 😄 This year has been really special to me since I got married to my partner, whom I met five years ago while we were still studying in Munich. 💍 It was an incredible experience to have my family travel all the way from Korea to celebrate our union in such a beautiful city 🏙 Now, getting back to your channel, I can't tell you how much joy and comfort watching your videos brings me. 💗 Your content is always so relatable and inspiring-whenever I see that notification pop up, it brightens up my day. 💕 I also love house makeovers and Asian food and products (as I am a Korean, hahaha 🙈). Thanks for all the amazing content, Hill. Keep cozy and enjoy the Christmas market!🎄
I love this haul, everything is soo adorable! If you like, you could even put the Snoopy napkin in a picture frame and hang it up - that way it will not rip.
Chiara, from Italy! My highlight this year is that me and my husband bought our first home! I'm really excited for the next months of organization, decoration and DIYs, and I'm always looking at you for some good inspiration!
Hi Hilary! ! Im so happy you had a wonderful time in Japan! I am from Galicia, Spain, and my highlight for this year is that we have just received council approval to build our own house, and we can not be more excited about it. I have binged over and over agan many of your videos to have our own space to build furniture for the new house, such an inspiration! Thank you so much for your kindness and have a great weekend!!
Juliette, Spain. The best time of the year for me was finally meeting my best friend! We work in the same company but from home and in different cities, it's been 3 years now that we talk on the phone almost every day. We were both so excited and spent a great day together 🥰 I also wanted to thank you for your videos, I always watch them on the TV to enjoy the high quality image. I love your editing and how everything is calm and beautiful ❤️
I’m Victoria from Montreal. The highlight of my year was when my mum came to visit me for the first time since I moved to Canada 1 and a half years ago! I took some time off work and spent so much quality time with her around the city and in Quebec. As I’ve grown older my relationship with my mum has only grown stronger and I want to cherish time with her even more now than ever especially because we had a tough relationship while I was growing up! I’ve always said I don’t want to have kids, but when I’m with my mum I start to feel like I’d love to have what we have with my own children some day 😂
Deepti, Germany. By the way I absolutely love your content and binge watch it often. It's amazing to see you transform spaces and the process behind it. The highlight of my year was finally being able to move in and join my husband here in Germany. This year couldn't have been any better. :)
I'm Tea from Croatia. Even though my year has been pretty monotonous, I would say that the highlight of it was travelling during summer with my friends and boyfriend. Almost every week for a month we would go on a one day trip to the coast of Croatia and just hang out and enjoy the sea and the sun. I would love to repeat those types of trips next year too!!
Flóra, Hungary. My highlight of the year was our little trip with my boyfriend in November. We went to a botanical garden, a thermal bath and a watercolour workshop together, it was wonderful ☺️
Brenda from Mexico here! My highlight this year was to finally get the courage to do all the things that I now love - I discovered my passion, some new hobbies and got rid of the fear that was holding me to get knew experiences and be happy! Kartik 🇩🇪 The highlight for me this year was my parents coming and visiting me. Being an expat, I always miss spending time with them and getting an opportunity to do that while taking them to new places and making them experience new things was a wonderful experience.
Clara, Germany. Big outing with the youth group I used to be in as a teenager. I (along with 3 other people that used to spend all our time there) now organized a week-long trip with a bunch of amazing activities and even invited a band and a dj for a concert for the final evening. We planned for almost a year and everything went smoothly, we had such a great time and our hard work paid off so well.
Verónica, Spain. The highlight of the year has definitely been adopting my cat after losing my previous pet three years ago. It has been a hard year in which I suffered the deterioration of health and the loss of my grandmother, whom I cared for. My furry little one has softened my soul on every bump in the road 💜
Mareike, Germany. My highlight was the best summer that I spend with my kids this year. Being outside all day, do gardening, relax and enjoy the sunshine (well and rain for some time...).
Heather, from Idaho, USA. The highlight of my year was the birth of my daughter. It's been such a joy getting to watch her grow and experience everything for the first time. This comment section is so wholesome. Seems like everyone is from all over! That's so cool. Happy Holidays and cheers to a fabulous 2024! ❤
Lea, living in Austria (originally from Germany) 😊 my highlight of the year was to quit my job that frustrated me for a long time. I tried so hard to make it work and now I know that it is just not the right job for me and that is ok. I still don't know if what I am trying next will make me happy. But I can't find out if I don't try. Thank you for you beautiful videos. I love how you create them with so much attention to details. It is always so inspiring and calming to watch them. You are incredibly good at what you are doing Hillary. ❤
Fani, Greece! This year’s highlight was a family trip to the Netherlands. Had such a great time! Love your videos and love how this one in particular was edited!!! ❤
I'm Amélie, from France. My highlight from this year is that despite being quite scared about doing that at 32 years old, i got back into studying (a Master of Advanced Studies in my field) and passed the 1st year exams very serenely (and eventually with very satisfying grades which was the cherry on the top). Bisous Hillary !
My Yen from Switzerland 🇨🇭. The beginning of the year started off amazingly by visiting my family on my mom's side, in Vietnam for my first lunar new year abroad. I graduated graphic design school and then in September, I got accepted in a design agency, my first step into the creative world ! Finally in December, I'm going to visit relatives, on my dad's side to celebrate Christmas. PS : I love the aesthetic of your videos, it's always a pleasure to watch and I wanted to say that your style editing is so nice. 😊
My name is Lucy, from the chilly Bath, UK. A highlight for me this year has to be having hotpot with my international friends from university, they were so excited to cook for us! I value their friendship and am so grateful to know them🥹happy holidays, Hilly! Another wonderful year of content, it’s been so lovely to see you grow!
Kimmy, Germany. My highlight this year was finding the strength to deal with mental health issues head on, though that's been more of a continuous process rather than a single event. Still, progress. Baby steps! Two steps forward, one step back and on I go. Your souvenirs are all very lovely, I'm so vibing with your entire aesthetic. The stickers! The tapes! The cute figurines! Also, that knit sweater you're wearing in the video looks so pretty and cozy. Welcome back home and thank you for sharing a little bit of your life with us :)

My name is Michalina and I’m from Poland, and my highlight this year is visiting Finland, meeting my favourite Jari-Matti Latvala in his home-museum, plus sightseeing Tampere. During my stay I mostly slept in the forests in my trusty tent 😅 because I went to see Rally Finland. I don’t travel very much so every chance I get I try to squeeze as much to do as possible! Watching other people travel is also fun to me - it’s almost as I travel with them. Bonus highlight is I bought the Cities Skylines 2 game and what city map does it have? TAMPERE. If this isn’t magic, then I don’t know what is!
I loved this litte "travel series" with all videos 😍 Your trip seemed so fun! And hi! Tanja, from Germany. My highlight so far, was planning a creative project, that comes out next year. It is very dear to my heart and took a lot out of me. So many working hours, doubts, tears and money went into this, but also so much joy, happy dances and laughs. I' really proud and can't wait to share it next year 🤩
Teddy from the UK here! I hope the UK is still considered part of Europe despite Brexit. The highlight of my year was a birthday trip with my dog and hubby to the picturesque countryside in Norwich. We cherished a few days on holiday, indulging in a delightful boat trip on my birthday. I'm Isabel, from Spain. My highlight this year is all the unexpected traveling: I quit my job in January in hopes to pursue a more fulfilling career and, despite not knowing what the future may hold, I decided to go traveling. I did the Interrail (Italy, Austria, Germany, Belgium, England & Scotland) with my little brother, who tried flying for the 1st time, and I'm currently in Nepal. I've been enjoying your channel from every single country I've visited. Thank you so much for your dedication!
Noelia, Spain. I'm always a silent watcher, but I really like the idea of sharing the highlights of our year! For me, the highlight of my year has been being able to see Coldplay in real life. I went to their concert last May and I loved it! I got to share this moment with my partner, who became a fan because of my persistent influence, and, although we've been together for 4 years, it was our first concert together, so I will cherish it dearly. I hope to see them again soon! Also, thank you for your videos! I love your content! 🥰

Adriana. I live in Germany. My highlight this year was my brother's wedding. Not only I got to be with him, but I was able to travel back home after 4 years, see my family, say goodbye to my dad before he died and see my mother who has cancer. I never thought I would be able to do it, because I have many chronic illnesses, and it is very hard for me to move around, let alone flight more than 10 hours straight. It was an unbelievable time.

It was the first time I travelled to somewhere so exotic. I had to learn some Spanish to be able to go there etc. and it was a real adventure!!
I'm Ines from Croatia :) Most memorable time from this year was this June when I had a vacation with my boyfriend. It was perfect because we combined it firstly with few of his friends, than we had some time alone to explore Croatia seaside. Than we visited Pula with my friends for Florence and the maschine concert 😊 Maybe it doesn't sound so special, but for me it was those type of vacations were you never wanna go back home to reality :D
Victoria, Netherlands. My highlight this year was going back to my home country, Argentina, and visit family and friends after a few years of not seeing them, this trip recharged my energy❤️
Astrid, Spain. I love the idea of making ppl share their highlights of the year. If I have to pick one, it would being able to re-choreagraph a contemporary piece with a friend after a previoud experience that had gone very wrong & being able to perform at a festival, on an open space. It made me feel courageous & fulfilled (a second, sillier highlight is finding my dream wedding dress hehe).
Juliette, from French Polynesia but living in the Netherlands. For years I had this strange feeling that my 27th year something amazing would happen. It’s all nice but then it comes with expectations..! Best thing happening to me this year (maybe a bit boring?) is to have finally figured out what I really wanted as a job, going to my manager about it and making it happen…! I am incredibly lucky. There are still so many things I would like to do for this year, but I am also learning to let go, take time for myself and go at a slower pace. Thank you for making such lovely, relaxing and artful videos that inspire so many people around the planet.🍭✨✨ (Also - how good is butter beer eh!! 🍺)
Victoria, from Spain. The highlight of my year has definitely been finally being able to go to Paris on vacation with my bf, after years of money struggles!

I'm feeling like myself again and I'm so proud to have come this far ✨ I also wanted to say thank you for inspiring me, I've been there since almost the first video and you're still one of my faves channels to watch to relax and calm down 🫶 (and thank you for giving Snoopy the love he deserves!!!)
Hi I'm Lia from Austria! 🌷 My highlight of this year is that I think I finally found out what I want to pursue in the future! Ever since I graduated last year, I was struggling to move forward. I felt lost eventhough techincally I should have a direction because I studied in a certain field before. But now, I think I want to take a "riskier" route and actually try getting into the creative field! I think it's the one thing I wouldn't mind doing for the rest of my life! And even if it turns out to not be as I hoped, I at least then am no longer afraid of taking risks and change things up if I feel like it needs to be! Thank you for bringing so much joy into the world with your videos! They've certainly inspired me to also want to make the world a more beautiful place! 🌷✨

Congratulations! Your mother must be very proud! 🙂
You're amazing 🌸
Winter, darkness, panic attacks, those all sound way too familiar to me and I'm just really happy to hear that you're now feeling well adjusted ❤️
I'm Alice from France, and my highlight from this year is obviously my grandma's 100th birthday. I made a chili for us all to eat and there was apple picking and lots of love and fun!

We see and hear the birds and this morning we had the first snow (now it´s melted but I hope it will be back soon :)
Thank you for the nice and calming videos you made. It is always a pleasure to watch them. Mostly with Tea and a cookie ;)
Wish you (and Pat) all the best :)
Irene, Spain. The highlight of the year was I was finally able to see SHINee in concert, my favorite group after following them for 12 years. I thought I would never fulfill that dream with my friends.
Sarah from France. The highlight of my year was to finally be married with my best friend. It was a beautiful day and we both felt so moved by the love and support of our families

Leticia from Spain (but living in Germany :)). Highlight of the year was my first ever visit to New York, and visiting the National Public Library there 💓
I'm Vicky from USA.
I loved the story about the Happy Meal and your mom! 🥰🥰 I looove Snoopy too!
Marina, Spain. This year i got to visit a lot of botanical gardens which is something I discovered i loved, and get to see so many beautiful plants!
The first time using a new powertool is such an empowering feeling! You should definitely be proud of yourself
My name is Julie, and I'm currently living in Munich, Germany. 😄 This year has been really special to me since I got married to my partner, whom I met five years ago while we were still studying in Munich. 💍 It was an incredible experience to have my family travel all the way from Korea to celebrate our union in such a beautiful city 🏙
Now, getting back to your channel, I can't tell you how much joy and comfort watching your videos brings me.
Gizem, Germany. I did everything that I wanted to do. Was a productive year. Traveled a lot, got certificates, etc.
Thanks Hill for inspiring me and bring me some comfort/peace in the most chaotic times of this year ✨
Malak, France and my highlight this year was going on vacation to London and visiting the incredible monuments and my family there.
Your videos are the best the always make my day better! Impatient for the next one. Have a great day 🍃🪨🌺
Kartik 🇩🇪 The highlight for me this year was my parents coming and visiting me.
Love the way this is edited, giving me really fun and good vibes ❤
Celia, Greece. The highlight of this year is that me and my husband bought our home and decorated it together!

Jeanette from Sweden. Highligt of the year was my first ever visit to London. Loved it ❤
I'm Amélie, from France. My highlight from this year is that despite being quite scared about doing that at 32 years old, i got back into studying (a Master of Advanced Studies in my field) and passed the 1st year exams very serenely (and eventually with very satisfying grades which was the cherry on the top). Bisous Hillary !
It's never too late!! Proud of you 🌟
My Yen from Switzerland 🇨🇭.

Valeria, Mexico. The highlight of this year was a trip I made to Mexico with my best friends. We met 5 years ago when we started our master degree in Germany and this year we planned a trip together and I was able to showed them my home country and we really enjoyed it

Hi! Im Autumn from Florida and my highlight of the year has to be seeing my family last summer. It has been a while since we were all together and it was nice to see my grandparents and cousins! I love your channel Hill, and hope you’re doing the best! ❤️
Blanca, Germany, my highlight of the year was simply surviving, I went to a rough depression and just be able to say I am still here and enjoying life more and more by day is exciting.
I am saving up to go to Japan in the early future ♥
It's particularly meaningful as we explore the places where my hubby studied and savor dinner at his former student workplace, gaining insight into his past.❤❤

Tamara, Germany - Traveling to the very north of Sweden and hanging out with Huskies ☺️ I love your videos, you do great work! Thank you! 😍

I'm Mathilde-Hà (pronounced Matilda) and I'm from France. My highlight of this year is that I finally left my old job that almost made me insane and that I'm starting a new one.
It must have been so special! We didn't want to go home from Japan either 🥹
Victoria, Netherlands. My highlight this year was going back to my home country, Argentina, and visit family and friends after a few years of not seeing them, this trip recharged my energy❤️
I’m Sally from Germany, and my highlight of the year was definitely my trip to SF, a childhood dream of mine since watching Full House 😍

I'm Idy from UK. Love your channel so much. Your sharing is always inspiring and heartwarming. My highlight of the year was getting my driving license on my third attempt of road test. It was a hard journey but I did it finally. An amazing moment for me. All the best to you and Pat! May you and your family have a lovely and cozy Christmas.
I'm Christine and at the moment I'm living in Germany. A highlight of this year was being able to spend my Dad's Birthday with him; my family is in my home country and I don't get to see them often while I study here. Thank you for your sweet videos!
Hey it's Gyslie from France! 🥖

(and thank you for giving Snoopy the love he deserves!!!)
Marie, France. The highlight of my year was my journey to Dublin this summer.
My name is Beatrice, I'm from Germany, and my highlight this year is that I've started therapy after thinking about it for more than a decade.
I really love watching your videos, they really give me a lot of ideas. :)
Jette, Germany :) the highlight of this year was finishing my training to be a medical technician and then going to New Zealand for three months afterwards
