My favourite moment of 2021 is really simple, it's waking up every morning and seeing Pat next to me. It still feels like a dream, because we were long distance for so long. There's finally no time limit and I still can't believe I get to spend the rest of my life waking up next to my favourite human! In 2022, I want to stop letting fear and anxiety stop me from experiencing new things!

I’m Amanda from Singapore. My favourite moment of 2021 was getting to spend more time with my parents during the pandemic. I’m always out and about pre-COVID but over the months I got a lot closer to them and it warms my heart that we have many new happy memories at home. Hi, I’m Sammie from the UK, 2021 got off to a scary start after i became unwell, I didn’t know what was wrong, I lost so much weight and became very weak, I was diagnosed in April and I’m happy to say my condition is now controlled and I’m in recovery! So this leads to one of my favourite memories of 2021, I have a small second bedroom in my flat, that has been a storage room forever, my partner surprised me with a total makeover! with recovery exercise equipment, reading nook and DIY station. It’s my favourite place, it makes me smile every day and I feel so lucky to have my partner.
My number one goal for 2022 was to get back to swimming and I started yesterday! It was amazing to be back in the water! Also i always set myself a good reads goal to read 50 books. Wish me luck :)

Apart from seeing family, bringing back lots of Asian snacks, soup bases, pantry staples, dried goods etc is the best part about visiting home! Very happy for you; your trip home looked so lovely :)

My favourite memory from 2021 was being able to see my parents for Easter. My city was in lockdown for all of 2020, I wasn’t able to see my family at Christmas and so my parents surprised me with a short, but much needed, 4 day visit over Easter. I still haven’t seen my sister for over 2yrs and I’m hoping I can visit me family soon!
My only New Years resolution is to seek happiness! I adopted the minimalist lifestyle during the pandemic when I had very little income, I chose to focus on what really made me happy instead. Now I’m finding that peace of mind is really quite simple for me if I focus on doing the things I love and leave everything else aside. Finding joy and happiness in everyday, even the ones where my mental health isn’t so great, could be as simple as watching my favourite RUclips videos, having a chocolate treat for breakfast or getting to bed before 9pm! 2022 for me is going to be filled with these small but enjoyable pieces of happiness ♥️

Like many other people her wedding had to be postponed a few times, so it was so joyous to finally be able to celebrate her and my new brother in law! I'm 28 years old and never felt confortable doing anything, but now I'm always waiting for my next pilate class to stretch my body and calmly clean my mind. Hi Hill! I'm Melanie from Switzerland! Not even that far out from Munich! My favorite moment in 2021 was moving in together with my boyfriend into our first apartment. We've since slowly been adjusting to making this space completely our own and honestly, your videos have provided me with so much inspiration that I can't wait to start on a couple projects (as soon as our rugs get here; we live on the top floor in a 100yr old building and need some sound absorbers lol).
A resolution I have for 2022 is to start working out a little again. It's been hard to find activities that don't get shut down because of covid except running, which I hate haha (sorry Pat). Also, I would like to finally do full monthly themes in my BuJo for all 12 months of the year. Usually, there's at least one where I get lazy and only do a calendar and I'd like to change that.

Hi Hill! I'm Eva and I live in Greece. My favourite memory of 2021 was a small weekend trip in the mountains with my family! We went to an amazing Christmas theme park and the next day it was snowing, so we got to enjoy a full day in the snow! Thank god for this because exactly next week on Christmas I got sick with covid, so literally Christmas celebrations were cancelled. In the new year ahead I hope I'm able to organise myself and my life more and ditch stress!

By the end of 2020 my grandma fell very ill and gave us a big scare, she went from not remembering small things to not even being able to eat by herself and going to an ICU in the middle of the covid pandemic. We didn't think she would resist the incoming 2021. But she did, and she's doing even better now with proper medication and care! So her recovery is by far my favorite memory of 2021. Because of the scare she gave us, I completely failed my exams and could not get into the university I wanted in 2021, but this year I am very proud to say I finally got in! So I'm very excited for what 2022 has in store for me!

My 2021 actually comprised of a small milestone which means a lot to me. From experiencing the downfall to having depression in 2020 until I picked up myself from broken pieces in 2021, it seems to be a rollercoaster journey to me. Luckily my supportive brother doesn’t give up on me and keep encouraging me to start on something new. And so I tried. I started a small online dessert shop. Being a self taught baker and first time business owner (and also the only worker), I wasn’t the best, and still learning as I go, I never thought I could come this far.
For 2022, I hope that I’ll have strength to calmly accept the things that I can’t change, courage to change the things that I can, live in the moment, have dreams and work hard today.
p.s. your pineapple tart and almond cookies reminded me of the ones I made for sale at my online dessert shop =)

I’m glad you could go to see your family. I’m a Spanish living in Japan and it’s been already two years without seeing my family, so I know how it feels to live in a foreign and far place from home. Hello I'm from Indonesia.. Love your RUclips channel, like your plants and your tips on how to take care of them, love your stationaries too and most of all love your DIYs projects.. One of my hope for year 2022 I will be brave enough to start taking care of plants.. And also hope to be able to focus more on my goals and do more to achieve it.. About 2021, I can't recall any favourite moment, but I'm really thankful my family are all well and healthy and we can still meet each other. Remembering the horrible July till August last year when covid delta varian strikes Indonesia, it was super scary seeing a lot of people in my city queue to buy Oxygen for their sick loved ones.. 2021 are also the year I start learning how to bake.. Seeing them transform in the oven and smelling the aroma of freshbaked cakes and eating them with my children are probably my favourite times in 2021.. ☺️

I'm Jay from Poland! My favorite 2021 moment was summer vacation trip with my mom, brother and boyfriend. We rarely are lucky with weather when we go on vacation, but this one was perfect, we had a blast and were really refreshed and relaxed afterwards. As for my 2022 resolution I took it upon myself to go for a walk everyday, no matter the weather or temperature. It's going great so far, I hope I can keep it up.
My favourite moment(s) of 2021 was getting to spend time with my dad following his cancer treatments and the lockdown in California, USA. this year I intend to use my voice more whether it be for the good or bad. I have a tendency to go with the flow to avoid coming across confrontational or difficult. I want to speak my mind more often.
