I bought a roller ball and thought it was a very smooth pen to write with. The problem I had was the ink soaked thru to the other side of every document I wrote on. I ended up taking it back and exchanging it for a regular ball point, which I am also happy with.
PatricksTechReviews Hi First thanks for the review The cap stay in place when posting but have some kind of spring as if you push the posted cap it returns back. Yours does the same?
You did not read the manual or did not understand the system. The expression must be turned. Since the spring is missing here. Take a closer look at the screw connection !!
I'm glad you did a pen review on this pen i like this pen this is the best montblanc rollerball pen this pen is share i always wanted one in that same color
True, but as this was a present for someone I didn’t have time to wait for my dry skin to get smooth again. It’s was a now or never video. Will keep it in mind for the next videos. Cheers
This a cheap $20 pen? With the engraved brand name? The micro engraved product code to prevent counterfeiting? The quality smooth finish? This is clearly not a cheap pen. But it's one of Montblanc's entry level products.
Superficial status symbol far as I'm concerned but I try to stay open minded..whatever floats our boat. Nah...still a stupid status symbol. Was given an M25856, gave it to the mailman...or was it the sanitation man...can't remember. Person who gave it just asked me about it which is why I'm here looking. Perfectly happy with a bic with a squishy. But I do admire fountain pens, the ones that squirt. Just remembered, gave it to the PortaJohn guy at a boatyard. He'd dropped his into the blue chemical and needed a pen to fill out his service sheet. This was in my car, so......and wished him an early happy Christmas.
@ Dževad Bayraktar Haha!, you've called me out, rightly. Never saw your comment just coming back since someone called me a liar. My story is true but I have no right to judge what others enjoy. It's just a pen, not hurting anyone. I must have been in a foul mood - so my humble apologies and rather than delete the comment I'll keep it here as a declaration to my bad attitude. Peace and enjoy what you enjoy.
@@derekec Sorry I called you a liar. I’ve owned (2) Montblancs. The first was a twist-style ballpont which I believe I may have paid $85 for new. This was back in early 1990’s when you could buy them at OfficeMax? Still have that. Second is a rollerball which I hated until I figured out how to use a Pilot G2 gel refill in it. About a 30 sec mod.

Thank you Patrick for explaining some details about the montblanc rollerball pens.
Ordered mine today in black!!
Nice one. Would like to get one for myself too...
Silly question but when you order from Montblanc does it include an ink cartridge or should I add a refill package separately?
Looks like a very nice pen, i would like to buy one myself one day :) PIX Black
What about the green one? You didn’t list it with the others.
The refill screws in....
sirrobertlacy are you sure? I will get mine in 2 days and I dont want to brake it! :-)
Realize this is 4 years later, but of course the refill screws in…thats what the threads are for. Sheesh!
The cap does hold on to the back. Mine does at least.
It holds but it doesn’t “click” and stays put when turning the pen.
PatricksTechReviews mine does stay put. Kind of. Moves about 2cm when i rotate the pen upside down but then stays where it was. Doesnt fall down.
Sorry not 2cm. 0.5cm tops. Lol

I am thinking about getting one myself in either white and/or red. Not sure yet...
Is precious resin quality same as in miesterstuck pen.
Thank you for this review.
Thanks for your feedback.
You gotta screw the refill in
Good montblanc
It’s rather disappointing that the cap does not clip onto the top whilst you’re writing. For £190 it seems like that would be a feature I’d like.
Agreed totally.
The cap is a pressure fit and fits fine. The guy didn’t even know to screw the refill in, so what do you expect?
I think you have nice handwriting. Very nice review in my opinion, thank you
You should know the product before posting a video.
The Refill is screwed in, and the cap... yes it posts quit nice...
Hugo Moura Gomes so you have to put the refill in and then screw it in until thefront comes out?
Exactly !!! The worst video on Montblanc Pix!!!
How do you refill it? Buying a new one or by inserting ink in the refill cartridge ?
It can be done both ways.
260$ pen and you cant use 50 cent worth of lotion on those chapped hands!!?
It was winter, very dry hands. And after spending that much money on the pen, nothing left anymore... 😂😜

Mooon Blong ist bisschen falsch ausgesprochen glaub ich aber sonst supi
Wie würdest du es denn aussprechen? Ist halt wie der Berg und sollte französisch ausgesprochen werden… lerne gerne dazu.
Looks like a cheap $20 pen to me
Well, it isn’t. But everyone has an opinion.
Hahahah

Mon blong hahahaha😂😂😂😂😂
Let me do a review of something that i don't have an idea of how it's works!!!! Terrible video
This is some very low level tech lol
Yeah, it’s old tech… 😅

Good for you and the PortaJohn guy.
Liar…
