This is the Highway 33 railroad crossing in Westley, California. 1 of 3 crossings on this roadway and line. This crossing features one of the very few Griswold EM Signals left in service. The 1st signal and the EM signal itself are former Southern Pacific signals where as the cantilever is a CFNR installed signal.
This crossing owned by the Cal Northern Railroad is an mixed install with the cantilever being an CFNR early to mid 2000s signal install. Its EM gated mast is an SP 1950s - 60s signal install with its bell, gates, and gate lights changed. The 1st signal I was near is an SP late 1980s signal install with its lights, 1 pair of light heads, gates, gate lights, mechanism, and counterweight arms changed. The bell is also a likely change as SP late 80s MI signals mostly used MI Bells but the WCH could be original but I doubt it. No photos to prove othrwise.
