I disagree, this proves how good this song actually is, go to hip-hop today and take the bass out and I can assure you, you will notice the quality of the artist
Tbh, it kinda proves how important bass is, even if you don't notice. Alot of ppl downplay the important bass and say its a boring and easy instrument.
Imagine this song without the guitar or the drums. That would make more of a difference than without the bass. That’s why I don’t get why ppl r like “omg dude this song sounds completely naked and ruined without the bass”

So I was thinking about trying to learn either the guitar or the bass guitar and I searched for videos without bass and their comparison with bass. I found this one, and my guesses were right; bass is truly an important instrument to make music sound more vivid. My dad said that bass was useless and of course, I disagreed with him. He knows a bit of music so I obviously wasn't expecting him to say that. Anyways I'm still having a really hard time choosing between those two instruments. Besides from the standart differences, I also want you to note that I played the violin from age 7 to 9, and I am now 14, although I sometimes refresh my abilities with the instrument. I would love to play in a band. Guitar is maybe very over-played so the bass is a much safer path. Not many people recognize bassist though, and a lot of bands us MIDI bass. I can answer your question and at least help me decide because I like both instruments with very little no to preference whatsoever. Thank you

bass is the lowkey glue that holds these songs together and connects the guitars with the drums. This is a perfect example of that.

@@Subvivthyeah obviously but bass is extremely underrated in terms of how important it is to a song
