For anyone who doesn’t know; Webull has and Intraday Margin also. The intraday margin for MNQ is $194 per contract - you must close out your positions by closing bell of CME or your margin require reverts to $1974 per contract for the first overnight period.
Searched whole google and finally got the amount i was looking for . Thank you . 194 it is . How come webull have not made this info available is head scratching

FYI: read the fine print CME data fees free for 3 months but it is a standard fee that you pay to trade futures.

Not possible to do so as of now. I do wonder how the prop space will continue to develop, but most of these big brokers are not involved as of now.

I agree. I personally don't use them now either for a similar reason. Hopefully that adjusts with time but we will see

Cool video. Bit tricky to navigate to the Futures and you can’t put in a bracket order for Stop Loss and Take Profit.

So being in Australia using Australian Webull we don't have this option. Like we don't have many bells and whistles Webull US does.

How do you pull up futures charts. I type in es and no chart comes up
Question: Say, for example, you open a position using your maximum buying power. You close the trade a few minutes later. Is that buying power restored instantly? Or do you have to wait until the next day for settlement? Thanks for providing this education!

Thank you for making this video, no one has one out yet regarding futures on webull 🙌🏽 one quick question, is there a market data upgrade to get real time live data? The price appears to be moving very slowly on my end. I'm trying to take my first trade on my futures account on webull but the price is moving really slow.
If you navigate to the market quotes section on mobile you can see the options for real time data. From my understanding when you deposited 1,000 you get realtime CME level 2 for 3 months free. You just have to navigate to that section in the and subscribe to it.

There is a Day Margin option you have to activate that will lower your initial cost
How do I go about doing that? Is it under the “options” list like it would be for regular US stocks? Cause that’s what I’m seeing on my app

Thanks for this video. I didn’t realize the margin requirements were so steep and the interface was so bad. Is there the ability to trade via the mouse or is it just the manual entry?
Yeah the margins aren't ideal. There are a ton of ways to trade, I just went the basic route, but they have a few other widgets you can use to execute way faster.
@@TCTrading I would have to see faster methods before I considered switching from Tradovate and AMP. Sucks cuz I like Webull.
@@zombiept2You can use hot keys. For example I use shift + “a” to execute a buy order at my set price.
what is margin required for 1 micro nq?
I don't know why this isn't posted on their website, or in the app. But I called Webull to find out what the intraday margin requirements were for MES/MNQ and the rep stated that it was only ~129 (can't remember the specific $ amount) for MES, and MNQ was like 190. The 1000 was the initial margin requirement required to open a position. So that is confusing it was requiring 1298.
I called too they said MES/MNQ are 129 1 tenth the price of 1298 during traditional trading times from 9am-415pm est. and after hour the prices are 1298 for MES per contract, I was kinda disappointed because I wanted to trade the micros before and after market open at the specifically MES at the 129 per contract price point. I'm curious of what time the vid was made.
@@gonglong222hope you have cleared the confusion if not then you should ask them again cz maintenance margin is required to carry position to next day, that means during closing of the day that means around 4:15 pm to 5:pm phase . So you should be fine to trade anything premarket unless you hold beyond closing.

Yes, you would just sell. Works the same way as buying.

confused on why you would need so much up front capital for such a small trade. Are you using your own money or margin?
You’re using margin. They want all that capital up front as collateral basically. They don’t want to make a margin call, so they’re taking the steps necessary to avoid that as much as possible.
Can I do a many day trades on futures in one day?
Yes unlimited day trades
But beware the commissions
Can you trade forex on Webull too?
yeah
You can trade currency futures but you can't trade forex cfd's or spot forex.

Do you need to deposit minimum $25k to trade future?
No only $1,000 as of now is the minimum deposit

@@dillonle4034 There is a minimum to open the account, which I believe is $1000 apparently. There are then margin requirements in futures trading and those will depend on the asset being traded as well as whether one intends to trade intraday or hold positions over night.

You can. You have to qualify for it
Webull doesn't make it easy to make trades on futures. If it was like ninja or tradeovate it would be better. It takes me forever to enter a stoploss or take profit on webull. Webull has a loooooong way to go. I have a 30k account and I can only trade one Nq contract and 16 micro nq contracts.
new to this, what the fuck is a nasdaq. i want to daytrade, i dont know where to go i dont know what im doing. i have a futures account but webull shows that there are zero chances to actually invest. pls help.
@@Ethan-hf8ckfeel free to Google what the Nasdaq is and what futures are. But if you want to start day trading anything whether it’s options, stocks, futures you have to first learn. Do plenty of learning, develop your own strategies and then test them by executing whether it’s in a paper account or a real account

In the app, menu, market quotes and you will have the ability to select real time data. From my understanding once you fund 1,000 in a futures account they give you 3 months free CME level 2 data

Have a basic understanding of support and resistance lines ( learn that first).
Learn those on different time frames 5 minutes, 15 minutes, 1 hour, 1 day and 1 week.
If you don't understand the options market and how to calculate the expected daily / weekly move; you're going to lose lots of money!

How long does it take for your margin BP that you used on a trade to return back into futures BP to place another trade. On options it settled the next day is it the same for futures or does it immediately settle after you exit your position?

I think it’s immediate you can place as many trades as you want
