Wow, great deal. The bag is beautiful. I did like the black one at Fashion file. How did so many copies get on Poshmark? No wonder we can't sell our nice stuff. Nobody trusts the site for luxury. So frustrating for those of us who sell luxury brands...🤦😞
My first bag love is the LV & 2nd is Coach and each I will only purchase from the LV/Coach store itself. If I find something that I love I will just wait & save until I have the money to purchase it. Normally, I will request gift cards for Christmas in order to make that purchase so any difference I will pay out of pocket. I just want to make sure, I got the real thing when I spend that large $$$amount of money because I work really hard to afford myself those type of luxury items that I want. It's not often but when I do I just want that security that I purchase 100% authentic bags!
I love purchasing 2nd hand especially luxury. But I do expect a deal if I am buying pre owned. I draw the line at paying more than retail even if the item is currently unavailable. I just couldn’t bring myself to do it. The only new luxury item I have from the store is my pochette metis from 2017. I love that bag. I’d love to have the same Cassie you have but now it’s gone. I bought the chalk colored Cassie 19 during the last sale but didn’t realize they would discontinue the whole line!
I had this same experience when I purchased my Neo Noé in caramel. I was patient and waited until it was available in store then booked an appointment and had the whole in store experience, it was perfect. They also make good fakes these days and I wanted that security that I have the real deal.
I have this same bag in the same colors you chose. I LOVE it. I bought mine in Houston, TX. I've had it about a year and it is my favorite bag EVER. You will love it.

I found this with Hermes scarves too. The exact same new scarf was less on the Hermes website than it was on Poshmark. Not only are you guaranteed that it is genuine buying directly from Hermes but it is also new and you will receive the box!

I was lucky enough to get my hands on the Monogram Pochette Métis back in the Spring and I LOVE it!! I would refresh the website daily and finally it was in stock once so I knew it was meant to be. Picked it up at the LV in Copley, they’re so lovely there!

I just bought the Cassie a few weeks ago. The SA was bragging it up and I figured it would be great for work. I can’t believe how much I love it and it wasn’t even on my radar before I walked into Coach that day. I even took it on vacation last week because it’s so functional. I bought it when I was in Oregon too so there was no tax 😄 The SA mentioned it’s being retired

I have an Empriente Pochette Métis in Noir. I thought the strap was too short so ordered a very similar chain strap from Mautto and added it to the strap. It fit my body better.

I’ve bought various luxury brands handbags from the boutiques for ½ what they sell for new in boutiques in the US by buying overseas & paying in £, € as import taxes are much less overseas than here + paying w/ credit or debit your bank gives the absolute best exchange rate available. The Chanel Boy bag I’ve been looking for over 3 years & tbh I’d buy it new. This coming from someone who always searches secondhand *first*. I’ve found they want the same price or more than buying direct & they’re not in perfect condition. Now I don’t need “perfect” but I expect to pay less if it it’s not; not the same or more! Good luck! I absolutely love the Chalk, I just know myself and I worry I would make a mess of it! The liner on the Chalk is gorgeous too! You can't go wrong with either color!
Very interesting. I am such a proletariat that I actually prefer the Coach bag 😬. As a conveyor of lux goods, LV should have a more scratch resistant hardware. Purses and certain high end sneakers are now a huge resale market, Bloomberg did an article on the sneaker resale market. As usual your good taste shouts out, as your new LV bag is beautiful.
I actually like the Coach bag better too. My son bought me a goyard wallet for Mother’s Day and I LOVE it!!! If and when I can afford a luxury bag, I will probably pick goyard.
I understand they are trying to discontinue the monogram collection. They want to concentrate and push the leather . I have been watching their website and most of the monograms no longer available and before you would would enter your email and notify you if it came back in stock but they no longer give you the option.
I am glad you found the LV you want. I prefer the Coach. I am a Coach girl so LV does not impress me. Coach is made well and the leather bags last for years. I have the Brown leather cross body vintage Coach and it is in excellent condition.. What does Jay think of the $2,050 bag, from an accounting point of view? LoL I am sure he would say he could find other things to invest $2,000 into. I hope the LV wears well for you.
I'm a reseller in Boston area and just purchased the same exact Pochette Métis in reverse monogram from the LV store. We might cross paths with our bags lol. I also own the Cassie but in the color Pollen (a mustard yellow)

I LOVE luxury bags but I have become a connoisseur of replica bags now. I am so rough on my bags and can’t justify spending so much money on a bag while I’m saving for a house. After years of spending $200-300 on Coach, Michael Kors, and Kate Spade bags, I just can’t justify it when I can get a replica luxury bag for a fraction of the cost. I have a LV Favorite MM and Gucci Marmont that I spent $35 each on and are nearly identical to the real ones. I don’t agree with reselling them or trying to pass them off as real, but for personal use I absolutely love them. Maybe one day I can buy a real one that I can cherish forever.
