There is a common narrative in the States that says the Eastern world is dangerous, wild, and unpredictable. Although the last two are true and unsafe things can happen anywhere, it is not true that these places are innately dangerous. Upon leaving for Vietnam by myself, most everyone that I spoke to about going told me that I am brave, to be safe, to watch my back and be vigilant. It put so much fear into me that for the first part of the trip, my perception was clouded with these half truths.
I now feel more safety and like I am being looked after by the entire culture here than I ever feel in the United States. The suffering system is wrong, remember to look outside of this box that you have been put in. The box is your entire known reality that you have been taught to from birth. There is more out here than you Know, look for it loves.
I have so much footage coming to you, I have just been taking it very slow, filming a lot and waiting for the inspiration to hit when it does. Living a low pressure life. Enjoy!
