Thank you for this invention. I will be using it for my spouse's TBI from a bicycle accident and for me to sleep better.

Some other helmets i have seen have 256 LEDs. How does having only 4-5 LEDs compete with those?

Since hair may impact on the transcranial effect, how should one apply the contacts? Obviously one is not expected to shave the area of contact. How is this best performed? (I did not see this mentioned in the FAQ or guide)

Hi there, boogie. You could try using your fingertips or a fine comb to part hair follicles around the contact points of the LED modules.

Dementia affected my speech, I was unable to complete sentences quite embarrassing. I bought Gama last year now I speak almost a hundred percent. Additionally, my sinus ran for weeks, and with the fifth nasal module, it had stopped.
As we were told it's not a cure, but who knows how far will this technology take us. Thanks a million.

Do you have any devices which stimulate the vagus nerve and or work for issues like insomnia and or appetite control
I see tremendous potential of this tech in weight loss or alteast appetite management
However I think the devices do need to get smaller in size and potentially be portable

Hello Martha, the cerebellum module can be positioned over your brain stem. Have you tried lowering it downwards? We don't have any data for PSP but it may work. Please let us know how that goes: info@vielight.com

Are there any complications or concerns to be aware of using the Nuero 4 with someone installed with a VP Shunt?

There aren't any known complications for someone with a VP shunt, Tamoo. The NIR energy doesn't interact with plastic.

My mother has thick short hair. I got her the Neuro duo to help reverse her cognitive decline. Not certain they are parting her hair or having a lot of skin contact when the leds are on. My 92 year old dad is helping her put it on. Now I’m concerned she’s not getting the full effects.

I'm no expert, but how long has she been using it may I ask? You would think its ability to penetrate the skull hair would be no problem. But this would be up to the inventor. Best of luck to your mom.

Apologies for the very late reply and thank you so much for using our technology! If her hair is short enough, you might be able to part it around the roots where the LEDs touch with your fingers or a fine comb. Light energy scatters through tissue, so as long as it's making as much contact as possible, it should work
